Pretty interesting game. I liked the aesthetics!

I found it a bit difficult to move with A and D keys but otherwise it was good!

Pretty cool game! I really like the controls, they're very reactive. And the variable jump is always a nice thing to have.

Only constructive criticism is that I think the "You Win" at the end of each level should be renamed to "Level Complete". Although this is more or less a personal preference.

Thank you!

Currently there's only one level. It's more or less a prototype game right now. I wanted to add enemies and collectables but ran out of time.

Wish you the best of luck as well!

Thank you! I'm pretty happy with the idea I chose.
Yes given the time, I would like to continue and turn it into a mario style game!

Oh yeah that's totally fair. I had scaling issues as well! I'm not sure if its a bug on Itch.io but whenever I tried uploading my project to 1920x1080 it made everything too big, so I had to scale everything down to 1280x720 but even then some things weren't perfect (example the full screen button is cut off).

Yea no worries!

Miss-clicking happened less in full screen, although I have another monitor hooked up so it still occurred when I moved my mouse close to the edge of the screen.

This is pretty impressive! Good work!!

I suppose my only suggestion would be adding in particleFX.

Congrats on your submission!

Really cool game and really cool idea!

I think my only suggestion is to allow the player to keep moving if the mouse button is held down. Otherwise great game! Also I loved the music, it made this game have a calming vibe to it.

Also the pause menu buttons don't seem to work.

Big congrats on your submission, hopefully my feedback helps!

Nice game! I really liked the aesthetics. As mentioned by some of the other comments, the tank movement was very smooth and easy to use.

Until I read the instructions I didn't realize I had to pickup bullets and I was wondering why the tank can't shoot lol.

Some feedback below:

1. The Giblets need some sort of effect (such as spinning, particles, etc) to make them stand out from the level. It was hard to distinguish these from other elements.

2. It was hard to distinguish which UI elements were interactable and which ones were just text, other than the obvious ones such as Restart, Quit, etc.

3. If you're not in full screen mode, the score text is placed over the Restart and Quit buttons and I'm unable to click on them.

If you do continue developing this game, a cool idea to implement would be a roguelike dungeon crawler where you have entrances on each side of the room which takes you to new areas with new enemies to fight.

Huge congrats on your submission and I hope my feedback helps!!

Pretty cool game! It gave me those flash game vibes haha I miss those days.

There were a few times where I miss-clicked on the side of the screen which caused the game to pause. I suppose my only suggestion would be to add an additional fire button (such as spacekey) which would help avoid this issue. That being said, this isn't necessarily an issue for the game itself.

Also when you slow down time, it makes the framerate appear laggy. From what I remember this is the expected behavior if you're using time scale to slow down things, instead of slowing down the object's velocity. Anyhow at this point I'm just being very picky hahaha but I figured I should mention this :)

Lastly if you do continue developing this game, something neat to consider implementing is a level system (where you have to complete each level to unlock new ones, etc).

Hope this feedback helps and big congrats on your submission!!

Thanks for the feedback!! :)

There was a lot of cool ideas I wanted to develop for the game (such as different regions on the map where the enemies have different stats, etc). Perhaps I'll continue developing this game in the future.

Yes that's fair, without the story, the theme wasn't very present in the gameplay (other than being a zombie-like shooter). Given more time, I think I could've improved this part but regardless I'm happy where it ended up.

Thank you! ! :)

Yes haha , SFX and particle FX were one of my last items on the list but ran out of time before I could implement them.

Much appreciated! :)

Thank you!! Yes unfortunately I ran out of time to add SFX (and explosion particles). Despite this I'm very happy with where the project ended up.

I'd recommend playing in fullscreen mode, it makes the overall experience better. Also make sure you have your volume on! :D
