Fun game. Got about 2300 points before I kicked the bucket. You have the core of a fun game here. Lack of SFX aside, I'd really like to see obstacles as well as some different blob types. Definitely a secondary weapon (maybe on a cooldown or with ammo?) to help spice up the variety. Keep up the good work!

Thank you!! Yes unfortunately I ran out of time to add SFX (and explosion particles). Despite this I'm very happy with where the project ended up.

Yes haha , SFX and particle FX were one of my last items on the list but ran out of time before I could implement them.

The Story was amusing. Though I wish there was just a bit more to the game, and that the theme of the jam were more present in the gameplay.

There was a lot of cool ideas I wanted to develop for the game (such as different regions on the map where the enemies have different stats, etc). Perhaps I'll continue developing this game in the future.

Yes that's fair, without the story, the theme wasn't very present in the gameplay (other than being a zombie-like shooter). Given more time, I think I could've improved this part but regardless I'm happy where it ended up.

honestly when just starting i think its best to learn from ur game and just move on. Thats why i like game jams. They funnn

I'd recommend playing in fullscreen mode, it makes the overall experience better. Also make sure you have your volume on! :D
