WONDERFUL! Love everything about this! Feels like the good old days of miniclip and flash games. Top notch pixel art and great use of all of Mouse's models. Fun gameplay and felt like placement actually matters. Upgrades were meaningful and fun when you stack 3 of the same. Lots of enemy variation, loved the big fat ones hehe. Maybe something to improve is the 'uniqueness' of the units, like how they act making them even more specialised. Would love to see even more units too!
This game got the sauce fr ππ
MOUSE CON SIMULATOR! aka Connor's worst nightmare. Such a lovely art style! Love the plushies and references as well as the crowd and sellers. Lots of fun things to notice. Great concept and very polished. Only improvement I'd make is the movement feels a little too clunky. Otherwise amazing work for a few months, let alone doing it in one! ππ
PS. Sorry if this comment sent like 3 times π
YO THIS IS SICK! Some really fun twists on the genre! Extremely polished, fantastic clean art style and interesting/challenging gameplay. Finished it in one go even though I'm not good at these games and I struggled towards the end. Some of the audio was a little loud but that's an easy fix. I loved getting knocked down, and down and then more down... I can FEEL you smiling placing that hazard there. I mean that in the best way possible. My only 'complaint' is I want more! ππ
Cute cute cute CUTE! Might be my favourite art style from the Jam, but I'm a sucker for good pixels. That monkey looks so throwable. Great feel on the jump with the animation and sounds. Good music too. Also the contrast of cute-sy art and screaming "SEEEEGGGSS" is brilliant. I'd love to see more stuff to play with! Perhaps a monkey flip ability? Nice work! πoug oug oug
Full flash game nostalgia! Love these kinda games and this is really well done, especially for the amount of time you had. Physics was a bit janky but that's part of the fun. You already mentioned, but a reset button would be great. Feel like there's lots you can add to this if you continue developing. Overall really unique and fun! Nice job πOUG
Great style and love the idea of a auto-racer (new genre?) Would love some more strategy to lift the difficulty overall and something on-screen during the race to show how close/far chris is from you. I love the shop and little references in there as well as the style, need more voxels in games! Nice job! OUG OUG OUG π
I really like this! I played for way to long lol. I wanna see more of this, please develop further if you can! Combining gacha with tower defence I think is a great idea and I love bloons so I found this addicting. I will say the controls were really hard to get a handle on, and I felt I was having to move my hands all across the keyboard. If this had mouse controls it would be so much smoother to play. And some sfx to help, but it was fun without which is a good sign. Also very cute art! Well done! OUG π΅
Holy art style! Love it so much! Especially the intro and the creativity with the designs. I've found bullet hells are really hard to get 'right' in a short amount of time so to get patterns, upgrades and bosses in such a short amount of time is crazy. If I were to add one thing to elevate the game, I'd add some sfx for damaging enemies and getting hit by things. Getting feedback for doing things really helps that 'gamefeel'. btw I love the sfx/clips you got in there they made me laugh. Well done guys! OUG OUG π
I definitely didn't run out of time to properly balance the game because my files corrupted last minute... noooo... Thank you for the kind comments! I think adding an indicator when you NEED to pedal would be good to stop people pedalling all the time. My fault for how I wrote the how to play. Thanks! π
Thank you very much :D Yeah id love to add more options and help for players. Definitely if I had more time. And you can pass between two cars. It is very difficult if you don't use the lines in the road to align yourself. Maybe I should add something to the "how to play" and a bonus for going in-between!
