Well, It's actually an old project of mine, it was only the movement and some primitive 3D objects from Unity. So I continue and match up with the theme and add some features to it. For some reason the movement is a bit weird and wonky, so I changed the code a little bit.  The only thing I didn't make is audio, some sound effects and musics are from a software and YouTube. I also experienced in game jams, this is my 5th submission from all of jams I've participated. Also, thankyou for asking.

Oh my, Thank you so much! I really appreciate your feedback, the island's collider is a bit slippery for some reason and the gravity is a bit much, plus the island isn't flat it's actually curved right from the center if you look closely. The art style was inspired by Animal Crossing games, and originally I made the world round/cylindrical and not flat. Anyway, thanks again!

I'm having fun on this game, it gives the player freedom to roam anywhere and devour any object. The tornado one is impressive, the model is scalable as you eat and some shaders looks pretty awesome imo.  There's just one thing that I don't like about the game, it's the camera feedback was a bit too much when eat something. Other than that, what a cool and polished game, well done!

Made to the end, and it was great. I didn't know what part of the controls are out of control, because sometimes I can't jump and can't attack. I was consider these are not responsive and bugs, but then I read the description again, it was on purpose so I take that back. Other than that, great work on all such as graphics and animations.

Damn, the controls are kinda easy to use and very responsive, almost like other popular racing games. My favorite part is the booster one, especially the sound when it got boosted. Other than that, such a great idea and feels very polished, good job!

Thanks a lot! I really appreciate your feedback.

I'd love to implement new mechanics, I might do it in the future. Also the levels are just too few, I'll make more content as well. I'm happy to see you enjoyed the game, thanks again!

Thanks, I appreciated it! I'll check it later

Thanks so much! I'll rate your game sooner or later

Thanks!

Thank you! and yeah the mechanics is a bit complex and hard to understand for the first time, but the more you play you can get used to it. I was actually inspired by Animal Crossing games, it's relaxing and very casual to play so I've made similar like it.

Thanks! I was using a sound generator software called SFXR, it's very fast and easy to use. And the best of all, it's free :D

Btw your game is very fun to play and also hilarious, I've just rated it. Well made!

Why thankyou!

Thank you so much! It's better to hear the sounds while playing, the medkits pickup can be checked by the sound. I didn't made the feedback like animation or effect because I had no time. The NPC should be stopped walking while the player healing it, or maybe that's just a bug because I've already played numerous times and didn't find that. I was using blender for the models, It was quite easy to use and I love the new version. Anyway thanks again!

Thanks! I've just rated your game and it was fun & hilarious, I loved it.

Just WOW, all of it is excellent! the art, animations, sounds, music, mechanics, etc. are very well made. I love the idea of something take over the controls and makes it even harder. The fact that the level design are just great, the new mechanic introduction, the difficulty is just perfectly balanced! This should be on the top 10 no doubt about it.

It did make me laugh at certain point, especially the prone one. The enemy bounces off each time it got hit, I liked that. The only thing that I'm struggled with was the teleport glitch, for some reason when I jump or touch some colliders like a ceiling or wall it teleports me back to a place before it, and idk if this made on purpose but I consider that is just bad. Overall it's a fun game!

Wow really nice models and shaders! the  the game itse;f is very polished. I didn't make it to the end but I enjoyed the game and it was amazing.

The game is fun but a bit hard to play, plus it's hilarious with the voice acting. Other than that great art and music, well done!

Nice little game, what a great concept! It changes the keys a lot so I keep losing and can't play longer. It must be done by quick players, although I'm sucks at the game it's actually kinda fun.

Nicely done, it's kinda rare to have voices in games in a jam. Changing the game each time might be a good idea and fun to play, it fits the theme too so great work!

Wow this concept are so cool and fun to play with! I love how the character can throw each other. The art, animation and audio is so polished, well done! Also I just found some bugs tho, it's kinda rare but a character may spam the grab button and makes noises rapidly after switched, and  sometimes the controlled character can't jump over the cliffs when touching a wall or another character idk why. Other than that, it's like a finished game! You should release it somewhere other than itch.io and gain revenue from it.

Well made! it's getting hard and I must keep an eye every time. The art and animations are nicely done.

I must say that this idea is great and gives the player more challenge than spikes. It's trying to use my brain a lot. Sadly the spikes are not too noticable so players like me hard to notice and keep aware anytime. Overall it's a simple fun game.

Nice concept, but the player movement is too slow imo. I love how the game is getting harder. Just add more mechanics and contents, because the game is too simple and players may get bored very easily.

Make it multiplayer! and oml the graphics are just great, really really great! are these using 3D models with pixel textures or just 2D sprites with colliders? It's very interesting and original concept with just a simple mechanic.  All elements got put together into one really well and fits nicely as well on the theme. Not to mention the game color theme is the same as the GMTK's 2020 jam, pink! ngl this should be on top 10 imo. Overall such a polished game for a jam, well done!

Wow it's simple, but interesting! It fits the theme well and challenging. But it's a bit hard for the first time, I died several times try figuring out what's the best approach to overcome the level.

Damn what a cool idea! Those missiles aren't gonna stop, I keep losing because of that haha. It's challenging and interesting game! I really appreciate the shader and texture of the planet, but the brighter part was a bit too much. Other than that, it's actually fits the theme and I love it

It really fits the theme! oml it's asteroids 2.0 haha. I love the slowmotion when aiming, it gives the player some time to launch and cool effect as a bonus. I really appreciate that the spaceship won't get destroyed if hit by asteroids because it's too hard lol. Other than that, It's really challenging and fun game!

So fun to play! I love how the loser picks a card at the end. It would be awesome if power-ups implemented, the only downside was balance, some gun damage are a bit overpowered. I really appreciate how much effort the artists put into this game, the artstyle is just wonderful.

Thanks for your feedback! I've encountered this problem too, the negative medkits. I may check the codes later.

But i'm not sure about "can't heal the villagers that were not fully infected", I've played numerous times and that didn't happen to me. Maybe you were infected, that's why the villager still got the infection because you spread it?

Thanks for the feedback! there are some indicators for the infection actually, just keep an eye for the red bars. The mechanics it's a bit hard too understand so yeah I think it could be better to tell the player some visual tutorials and not let the player read because it's too damn boring lol

Why thanks! actually the player model is different than the NPCs but I had no time so I'll keep it haha

Thanks for your feedback! I was thinking the same thing actually, multiplayer maybe a good idea haha.
It may stress some players but at least it's a bit fun? idk

Thanks! well it needs strategy too like force some villager to move so they can't spread each other

Thankyou! ^^

It's just a simple platformer shooter but with more contents! I love how the voice acting implemented this way, artworks and others are nice as well. Very nice for a jam, good job!

It's like a polished game but this is just a demo. I would love to see a story, core loops and more content. Amazing mechanics, well done!

Cool concept. Nice music, it suits the game well. I realized that it is the same room, genius!

Gee thanks! I've been updating the game since the first jam release, and I will implement your suggestions.

It's true that there are no core loops yet, I planned some upgrades and buffs with a normal currency and buy some skins and extras  with special currency, but unfortunately it didn't make it tho haha. The only engaging part is killing some enemies, I'll add something to make the player play even more. I'll also add some reason to make the player mine the minerals, like get ammos and more coins (normal currency). There are more contents on their way as well!

by the way, some minerals have it's own score value, the rare it is the more you get!

Thanks again, I really appreciate your complements and suggestions!

Thankyou! I was thinking that enemies can hurt each others just like in minecraft, to make it more fun. Everything's balanced because it's only two scenes, so I can handle it. Also I might adding more contents, more mechanics and stuffs, etc.
