How does your game fit the theme?
Player must be careful to not spread it's own infection, some NPC will wonder around and may infect each other, and when a NPC follow the player it's a bit wonky and out of control

Did your team create the art for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

Yes

We created all art during the game jam

Did your team create the audio for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

No

I dont understand how you submitted 1 day, 8 hours before the deadline?

Well, It's actually an old project of mine, it was only the movement and some primitive 3D objects from Unity. So I continue and match up with the theme and add some features to it. For some reason the movement is a bit weird and wonky, so I changed the code a little bit.  The only thing I didn't make is audio, some sound effects and musics are from a software and YouTube. I also experienced in game jams, this is my 5th submission from all of jams I've participated. Also, thankyou for asking.

Really cool game! I loved the fact you can also get infected so you need to pay attention also to yourself.  Moreover it is very pleasing visually and  you did a really nice job with the menu pages: they are good to navigate and useful.

A lot of times I fell to death while curing a villager at the edge of the island and it kinda frustrated me because positioning didn't seem a challenge that fit the goal and aesthetic of the game (in my opinion, at least).

Great work, wonderful take on the theme and the current world situation: I think the player getting sick is a good rappresentation of people risking their life to save others.

Developer

Oh my, Thank you so much! I really appreciate your feedback, the island's collider is a bit slippery for some reason and the gravity is a bit much, plus the island isn't flat it's actually curved right from the center if you look closely. The art style was inspired by Animal Crossing games, and originally I made the world round/cylindrical and not flat. Anyway, thanks again!

Thank you! and yeah the mechanics is a bit complex and hard to understand for the first time, but the more you play you can get used to it. I was actually inspired by Animal Crossing games, it's relaxing and very casual to play so I've made similar like it.

Thanks! I was using a sound generator software called SFXR, it's very fast and easy to use. And the best of all, it's free :D

Btw your game is very fun to play and also hilarious, I've just rated it. Well made!

Fun little idea! I was a little confused at the beginning trying to pick up new medkits (I think because I didn't see an animation or feedback), and it's strange when a person you're healing runs off. It looks like you have done a ton of work on the art, very impressive.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! It's better to hear the sounds while playing, the medkits pickup can be checked by the sound. I didn't made the feedback like animation or effect because I had no time. The NPC should be stopped walking while the player healing it, or maybe that's just a bug because I've already played numerous times and didn't find that. I was using blender for the models, It was quite easy to use and I love the new version. Anyway thanks again!

Thanks!

The lack of health kits is synonymous with US testing of COVID

Really beautiful game, but a little too hard for me. I barely succeed the level 1.

Developer

Thanks! well it needs strategy too like force some villager to move so they can't spread each other

Submitted(+1)

The concept is really goooood, i liked it, i magine if this idea keepds devloping further could be some sorts of overcooked for pandemics!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback! I was thinking the same thing actually, multiplayer maybe a good idea haha.
It may stress some players but at least it's a bit fun? idk

Submitted(+1)

yeah i do think would be great, theres no problem with stressing people a little bit

Submitted(+1)

I love the artstyle! The steps sound almost robotic, which fits well with the design of the characters.

Developer(+1)

Why thanks! actually the player model is different than the NPCs but I had no time so I'll keep it haha

Really nice 3D art! Especially for a game jam. The audio is also well selected and fits nicely. Despite reading the instructions, I had a little trouble telling what was going on. It might be nice if there was some visual indication of where the disease was spreading, and whether or not I had the disease.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! there are some indicators for the infection actually, just keep an eye for the red bars. The mechanics it's a bit hard too understand so yeah I think it could be better to tell the player some visual tutorials and not let the player read because it's too damn boring lol
