100% agree, we had 3 more lined up but didn't have the time to finish them.

Cool mechanics and good art.

Is there any other level? Also, is it possible to lose? Didn't see the second build.

Must be that. I tried with chromium and it works, thanks!

Seems cool but sometimes crashes.

Also for some reason I can't download the builds.

Graphics-wise, it's perfect. I wouldn't change anything.

The gameplay has some problems:

- The controller's d-pad input is poorly made, it's almost impossible to walk with it (using ds4windows), the joystick itself, however, works fine. (Note: if you're using Input actions, try to assign the dpad to the same actions as the joystick).

- There are too many ranged enemies, from the levels I played it was around 50% of the enemies, resulting in dragging out the level or getting killed instantly. I would suggest either reducing to 25%~33% or adding some sort of (rare) healing item (maybe 1 hp per level?).

Other than that it's pretty solid.

The sound was well made except for the music, which was weak. Although for a graphics-programmer team was reasonable.

4/5

Very creative! I also think of Cave Story when looking at the graphics.

One nitpick, the jump sound is almost inaudible yet present.

Having the big egg gain acceleration based on the cursor position relative to it might make it easier while still keeping some of the difficulty.

I thought so, I also did find the controls pretty interesting, making the game a bit more difficult. However the enemy shots having so low of a range made it possible to just run away while shooting back and finish the game without depleting the shield once.

Fun upgrades game, the pacing is usually hard to do but you nailed it!

Cool original platformer mechanics! Crashed once though.

As others said the controls could be better, but otherwise very cool mechanics.

Very fun to play!

Especially the innovative controls!

Very fun game, too bad it crashed on me after wave 5.

Thanks!

Yeah, level design is my weak point :P

Thanks!

The egg throwing mechanic did open many puzzle options, too bad I couldn't really implement those.

As for the last puzzle (the last part of the boss), it's something I randomly put together at the last minute that ended up having many ways to complete it, some ridiculously easy but hard to figure out, and others hard to do but easy to understand.

Looks like a good game but...

In order to be played on linux or windows it requires the executable *and* the .pck file.

So right now it can't be played on linux and windows.

Fun game with really good music, mechanics and art!

A few observations:

- The intro text should change to the game with a button and not by timer, so non-native english speakers like me have to read it fast.

- The text in each level should only play once.

- The music doesn't need to restart when dying or advancing the level.

I also liked the weird-yet-interesting plot!

Thanks! I'll check it out.

That was a good choice, no music actually gives it a unique feeling.

The game is really, really good, I just don't give it 5 stars on everything because it's full of bugs, although it is to be expected.

It was a bit hard to get the game running, but it was worth it.

The design was really good, as well as the music and art. Close to the end the game crashed when dying, giving me a blackscreen and death sound loop, but I restarted just to see the ending, I didn't regret it.

Really fun game! Reminded me of Portal at the end.

Very cool and the difficulty is just right, forcing the player to come up with different strategies.

Just one nitpick: you could have added an ending screen or just sent the player back to the main menu after completing the last level,  without realizing I ended up playing the last level two or three times.

Really good idea, especially the rewind dungeon, except for the laser eyes... way too OP...

Countless times I lost the progress before due to a blackout, someone pulling the plug (by accident of course), running out of batteries, etc etc...

Seriously though, the game is really good despite the lack of music! Kept the tension up by constantly making me think: "Oh no, the power can go out any minute now, I have to hurry and get the other X stars, oh no, the screen just got darker, I'm going to lose all progress now, hurry, hurry, hurry!!!"

The music and stages were great, as well as the art. But the timing was a bit off and isn't in sync with the music.

Great game otherwise!

Really good game! The art was especially interesting.

Yeah, it's not well explained, the idea is that you lose the upgrades when going back before you built them, so you need to use the replicator again.

Thanks for your feedback!

Yeah, I kinda ran out of time, the jetpack sound is the result of a bug I had to keep and the light is more or less the same.

Thank you very much!

Thanks! I will check it out!

As for the music I just put triggers between areas that change the music playing while keeping the playback time.

Thank you!

If you interact with the replicator after collecting a blueprint it will create the item.

Thanks for your feedback!

I just updated the game's page, thanks for your feedback!

Which part did you have trouble?

There is a paper on the wall that teaches you to rewind yourself.

Agree on the voice part.

Surprised this isn't more popular, great idea!

Great game! But couldn't beat it because of the high movement slide.

Thanks!

Even with two other people helping (art and sound) there were some complications code-wise, specifically note-detection, so I didn't have time to make a decent tutorial.

Still, I'm glad we managed to finish it at all!

I didn't make the instructions on time, by pressing enter you can see which songs you got, and by playing them you activate the effect.

The first one is an extra jump, so play it after jumping to get a height boost.

Thanks for playing!
