This is a really unique idea and it's entertaining to figure out what combos will explode and what won't.

Thanks. I suppose the AFK thing is based on chance, as I have tried it a few times and it is possible to die, although the game could be a bit more fast paced for this to be improved. For the level length, I believe it is good as is. Some people said that the game still progresses too slowly, and since length is the difficulty factor of the game I think the levels could get longer even faster. I suppose that is based on personal preference though.

This game has a really interesting concept and it was way better polished than I thought it would be (the vases breaking, the collisions), especially for your first game. I would say most of the factors are pretty good in this game. I would just like to give a few ways you can improve.

- Firstly, I would change the font to something that better matches the game.

- Secondly, you should use the same size brush / pixel size for all the assets as it will be more pleasing to the eye.

Overall fun and well polished game.

Thank you for the in depth review! I agree that it could be optimized a bit more but I just was not sure if it was the game or my computer. I also agree that it could be a bit harder. I don't know why you had a problem with the sound effects because the game does have some sound effects for shooting and power ups. The music is set to loop so that is either a bug or a problem with the engine. I would love to rate your game but I can't really download games. Otherwise, great review and thank you! I will definitely take care of some points you mentioned in the future.

Short but fun game. It is a really cool idea and I liked the simplicity of the visuals. I would improve upon it by giving it a more distinct story, some more game juice and audio effects and make it a bit longer / add levels. Also here is a tip, when making a pixel art game try to match the pixel size between assets so it is more pleasing to the eyes. Overall this is an excellent first game. Good work!

This game is great! It is pretty hard but in a funny sort of way instead of the typical "I want to break my keyboard" kind of way. It was really enjoyable playing through the story. I would improve the visuals and sound design but other than that this was great. 

This is a really cool game. I really like the sound effects and the overall game juice. I think you got a really fun game loop. If you will continue working on the game, I would add some sort of shop so you can use the money you gain. Overall, I really like the concept and sound / art.

Hey guys, we are trying to get 50 ratings on our game Stormflap before the jam ends, we currently have 47. We would be really happy if you could play our game which is an innovative evrsion of flappy bird with a storm and even enemies.

We are currently working on making the game better for a future full release with fullscreen and even though we are not planning on any sort of checkpoint system there will be difficulty settings so you will be able to make the game easier or harder depending on your preference. I think there has been a misunderstanding, the bosses are the enmies on the screen which get progresivvely harder for now, but we are also planning on making a real boss whenever you hit a certain amount of points.

We are currently working on developing the game for a full release most likely during October so it would be great to hear your feedback. So far we added fullscreen and made the storm more challenging. We are also working on difficulty modes. If you have any suggestions please feel free to tell us.

Hello everyone, please rate our game, Stormflap. A flappy bird inspired game but with a catch, you will have to fight enemies, and every 30 seconds the enemies will use a storm to distract you and regenerate their health. If you have any fullscreen problems, try zooming in.
