I do have plans for the game, but, unfortunately, it’s on hold at the moment. Thank you for playing the game; sorry about it’s current state 😅

Thanks! Yup, will continue working on this after the jam

Thank you! Will definitely play around more on the environment and intro. Work on this will continue after the jam!

Thank you so much. Will definitely update this once the judging is over :)

Thank you! Made a custom Tilemap node that had a reference to the active player which my tile scenes use to check for the spotlight. not sure if that was really the best approach 😅

Thank you so much. Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for playing! Balancing mechanic would is definitely something I’ll keep in mind next Jam 😅

Thanks for playing! I was thinking the change in camera would help in the scary aspect of the level, but it does result to making resets disorientating 😅

The sound effects really elevates the horror vibes going on in the hotel.

Also, would love to know the song you used at the start of the game 😅

Started late and was short for time 😅. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the review! It definitely needs more tweaking as it ties to more mechanics in the game 😅

Love the art style, the dwindling light, and bugs running away from the light mechanic.

Had some issues recognizing enemy hitting me - maybe adding a pushback or phasing in and out (sort of an invulnerable phase) might help.

Best audio 10/10 no notes!

Had fun assembling my vegetable!

Really clever way to implement the Jam’s theme

I can really see the potential on this project. Hope you continue working on this!

One of the best visuals and narrative I’ve seen in this Jam!

Really polished work. Well done!

Controls needs getting used to at the start, but really fun concept!

The amount of stuff you get to fuse to your sword was hilarious. It was also neat that the spinning sort of looked like a kaleidoscope by the end.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it :D

Thanks! I love the idea of having characters banter with the player while providing details about the objective or tips 👍

Thank you for your feedback!

Difficulty balance is definitely something I still need to work on 😅.  Returning to the fireplace idea is brilliant - adds another layer to managing your fuel.
