Lovely style great polish and a super idea. I feel like the game lacks a bit of depth (which is understandable given the time limit). Creating further synergy between cards and perhaps giving the dealer a bit more autonomy, like choosing who to deal to first, would go a long way to making this a game I could sink hours into.

Impressed by the amount of content you managed to create for the jam! Really nice idea and a literal take on the role reversal theme.

Difficult but really fun and creative game! Love the art style.

Nice work! The music was a bit too intense for my taste but the physics were great!

Great concept and a lot of gameplay to be had! Found a lot of neat tricks to save blocks and liked the meta-progress. With polish this concept could become a great endless runner or puzzle platformer.

Thanks! We tried to strike a balance where the bear is faster but less nimble than the human.

Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it!

Great work! The idea is really creative and well-executed.  Perhaps a particle effect or swing animation could be added to make using the hammer even more satisfying.

Thank you so much for the kind words and we're overjoyed that you liked the game!

Great work, I found it a bit difficult to understand the point of the really expensive unit.

Thank you for the kind words! Haha no it wasn't mine but stay safe :)

Thanks for playing the game and giving such thoughtful feedback!

The hunter wasn't programmed to run through traps just to avoid obstacles and the player. Having the hunter run past traps would've been a great way to improve the AI.

Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks! We wanted the bear to feel heavy but probably didn't make it intuitive enough to control.

Thanks!

Great concept and execution with tons of polish.

Nice game and a great concept. Fell through the floor once and couldn't find a way to get back would've been good with some sort of out-of-bounds check.

A great concept that fits with the theme and was well executed for the given time! I enjoyed playing it but think that some short commands for placing blocks and going to the next round would make it less tedious for longer play sessions. The pixel art for the dragon and castle look really good and with more time I'm sure you would make the background and particle effects look amazing too!

Really enjoyed the music and think the game was fun once I got the hang of it.

Thanks for the feedback! We felt that the bear should be a bit slow to turn and unruly to control but might have gone too far. We also tried to fine-tune the difficulty so that we would find it easy. Our plan originally was to have additional hunters for each successful run. This feature was implemented but unfortunately, we ran out of time before building and publishing it.

Thanks for taking the time and trying out our game! And thanks for the feedback!

Really enjoyed the game and the music was great! Maybe making the tiles more obvious would make the game more intuitive. Like matching the grid on the floor to the tiles in the game?

Oh that’s to bad. It’s my first time uploading to itch.io, perhaps something went wrong?
