Now this might be my favorite execution on the theme! Great idea!

It does seem like you don't have much agency at times, altho not sure how I would go to fix that, but the art and the music made up for it quite a lot!

Really enjoyed it. Amazing work!

Lovely style great polish and a super idea. I feel like the game lacks a bit of depth (which is understandable given the time limit). Creating further synergy between cards and perhaps giving the dealer a bit more autonomy, like choosing who to deal to first, would go a long way to making this a game I could sink hours into.

I am absolutely in love with the style of the game!

Wow, our group came up with very similar games and almost gave it this exact title haha!  Overall, I think this is a really great and polished prototype. I enjoyed manipulating the outcome and thought the art and music were really great. I can imagine even more cards being added in the future and would love to see an even more complex game in the future!

Loved the polish level and Papers Please vibes! It took me a while to start understanding what cards were good when, but it definitely got easier :)

One of my favorites so far!! Looks really polished and its a great twist to the card game genre.

The game is definitely very polished and looks great. However, the cards themselves don't synergize much. Therefore, there isn't really much you can do to favor Mr.x. You can't build a strong hand cause all the cards are so similar. I would have made the cards more advanced, maybe having 3 red cards gives an attack buff, or some cards have a special ability to counter other types of cards, etc. Because of this, you can really just spam the deal button and win. Additionally, the 20 points per turn system is a little odd, and the prices seem random (at least, peaking at the second card costing 3x as much as looking at the back card seems overpriced to me). Perhaps you could have framed these points more as suspicion, where the more deck stacking you do, the more suspicious your opponent gets (like in the game Card Shark).

Steep learning curve, but once you get it, it has a lot of depth for such a small game. Great concept, perfect excecution!

Wow such good visuals. The music is also really nice and has lots of different cards. However, I found the game difficult to understand so I would suggest a small explanation in the itch io page :)

The game doesn’t run on MacOS :(
