I liked the control scheme and the stylish graphics, but the game feels on the hard side. And one of the screens, that has a bumper right at the beginning, seems a bit unfair as you have barely any time to react. Maybe making the camera movement continuous instead if separating it into several screens would help with that.
Quite a bit of polish though, good job on that!
Nice idea that is well executed! I like the way it looks, presentation is very well done. Wish it was more obvious that I didn't need to click on specifically the ball to move, but otherwise I enjoyed the challenge!
A little short for my taste ;p great job though! great idea and execution!
Pretty fun! Seems great for mobile.
Nice idea!
It's a cool concept and fun to play!
I just hope there are more levels and the wall doesn't
immediately catched up when you get to the next level
I wish the pink bar coming down from the top is a bit slower... I can't go past the third screen! lol
All in all, it is fun and robust gameplay. The design of the game is pretty cool as well!
Super neat and polished experience! Well done!
Funny idea - just the third screen always bounces me right back into the second and death
Fun concept, love the idea that you would be "losing" a classic pinball game by going down like that.
Unfortunately i was unable to go past the second screen as the ball bounces back on the first bumper and into the death wall as soon as I enter, ending the run ^^'
I think the presentation is great, the minimalistic art with clearly marked "bump" zones makes it snappy to figure out where you should or shouldn't aim.
The movement itself could use a bit of extra polish, at least for me it's quite hard to keep track of when and where i should be, expecially when the death wall follows the player that fast!
Keep up the good work!
Pinball reverse! Yeeesssss! Check out ours too!
Really cool execution and concept! I just wish the bar thing would've only started moving after you start moving and not immediately on restart, and it felt a bit fast in some parts (sometimes you would enter a section only to be immediately knocked back straight into the killing area... But aside from that, good job!
Really nice visuals on this one. Cool concept too, if a bit clunky in this iteration. Could be really fun with some polish!
One of the best looking games of the jam! Really nice concept, the art and overall level of polish with the SFX is incredible! I want more!
Good game, it would be cool if there was a high score table
really cool idea! but it was too well made for the person who has bad control :(
but I can find it's very polished well made game! nicely done
very cool design just wish the camera would zoom out a little so i could see more of the obstacles coming up but whats here is amazing
WOW great idea
Really dig the art style! Didn't make it past the third screen, though: The wall of death catching up to you is absolutely brutal there! Might be easier on mobile using touch controls, however. Also, I'd not move the wall until the player made their first input – it's stressing without reason! Took me a couple of tries to figure out what I was supposed to do as well: Knowing pinball, I assumed I had to get up at first, past the red wall somehow. Maybe show a blinking arrow to indicate the direction?
That’s good feedback, thanks ! I’m aware of all these issues, but didn’t have enough time (and energy ;-;) to implement everything properly.
Most of it is fixed in the post-jam version, didn’t take too long ! If you liked the game, I can only recommend to come back once the jam ends :)
Perfectly understandable. 😅 Looking forward to it!
Very unique take on the theme, the gameplay was really well designed and I liked the art style
