Very cute game! I liked the creative mix between memorization/puzzle and storytelling. While there are some minor kinks to work out, it is a very interesting game concept that could be expanded upon.

Thank you for your kinda remarks! 😊

Super fun and polished game! The art, music, and game concepts are all amazing! You definitely made that movement mechanics a feature >:) Other than what has already been mentioned by other comments, a QOL suggestion for the future i have would be having a volume setting and maybe a way to quit the game from within (maybe I didnt see it haha) I look forward to its future development :3

I like the cheese concept! Really makes me wonder about the life of cheese....I am pretty bad at puzzle games, so I didnt get very far. If only I could have cheesed my way through it! :3

SUPER cute game, and I LOVE THE PUNS (some of them were unBearable tho 😁) The lawn mower of whatever you guys used for the roar had me dying of laugher :3 The story is amazing and I'm impressed by the depth of the story

While I'm not a big fan of visual novels, this game definitely compelled me to keep playing! I would have wished for more interaction rather than clicking through, but that may just be how visual novels are. Overall, its a beary clean game

Very interesting concept, and I like the wild west feel :D There is definitely a lot of potential with the needle and thread mechanic, and I hope to see how it is developed in the future :3

This is a fun platformer, and I really liked the circuit/wire aesthetic! Other than what was said before, I think there could be some clarity for some of the items, such as the electric bottle, which I had no idea what it did. Overall, well done!

Super interesting concept! Made me have to relearn my typing skills again ;) (on that note, it could definitely be one of those educational/typing games if you wanted to go that direction!)

Some minor things I have noticed though, was that the movement felt super janky, especially if i reversed the direction of movement, or if the keys are spammed, the character goes super fast. Also, during one of my runs, there were three skeleton enemies spawned on the right side, one in each lane, which made it impossible to dodge. Those are just nitpicks though, and overall I thought it was a super fun game, and once the leaderboards are developed, i could see people be competing for the top!

I really love this game!! I love cats, and there are two of them :3 The concept of switching between 2 cats is pretty cool, and the puzzles are pretty nice.

My only main nitpick is that there doesnt really seem to be a good way to restart the puzzle. I got stuck in one level where i pushed the box too far, and it prevented the platform from going up all the way. Other than that, CUTE GAME and I would love to see more levels meow

Congrats to you too! I'm glad you played my game as well :3
I did actually try to export it to the web, but the canvas scaling for certain screens in the game was off (there was a margin at the top/bottom of the cutscene). Since it was towards the end of the jam, and we did most of our testing on the Windows version (and I had no previous exp with webgl), I didn't want to risk having a buggy browser version :( But we will definitely upload a browser version once the judging is over! 😊

Thank you for playing our game! Our artists are definitely OPP 😊

I am glad you loved the movement/rhythm mechanics! We will definitely explore that more in the future :3

I love the take on the Connection theme! Everything is so clean and polished (i love the animation for when the atoms splat on the ground)

One issue I had was with enemies being out of view because they were next to the wall, and I would have no idea where they were until I got close and they started chasing :(

Also, even after playing it for a while, I still have no idea when/how the enemies attack, as I could collide with them without taking damage, but other times I would

This is a really cute game, and I can't wait to see what the next stages would be like. You could say... it makes me hungry for more!

Besides the controls being more restricted as others have mentioned, I would say maybe distinguish between what can and cannot be interactable? I saw the fruit on the table, and thought i could interact and eat it. Other than that, its quite an enjoyable game :D

This game is super polished, and I like the way it introduces new mechanics. It is pretty funny being able to throw your brother around. :3  The gameplay was really smooth, and it was nice that I was always able to easily pull the brother back with the rope (even if it didn't conform to physics laws xD).

One critique (may just be bc I'm pretty bad at these types of games) is that I often felt like I had no idea what my goal was, and would just wander around the map hoping to find something.

Really interesting concept! I liked the idea of controlling two different characters, that were still connected. While I'm not a huge fan of bullethell games, I definitely felt the urge to continue playing this game!

One critique I would have is that I was super confused at the beginning, as I did not know where the enemies were, nor did I know that i could control/shoot with both characters. In addition, a lot of the sound effects, while good, had high volume and was ear piercing to me (as I was wearing headphones).

I really loved the concept of the game! It was cool switching between different characters, like the umbrella man being able to walk through the rain, and the idea of having checkpoints at each of the mailboxes. I also really liked the aesthetic and the cute message :3.

One critique I have is that while for the most part, it seemed that the things I couldn't pass through had a black outline, but their were some exceptions (like the tree trunk, bushes, and cloud) that made it a little confusing/inconsistent. Other than that nitpick, fantastic game, and I would love to see how the game is developed in the future (if that is planned) :D

I'm glad you enjoyed it! 🥰

I'm glad you liked the soundtrack and aesthetic! Our artists and composer are godds and worked hard on it :3

Thank you! :D Checkpoints are definitely going to be added ASAP... if only I could go back in time 😞

I love that you love it! :3 Your suggestions are spot on, and I will definitely be adding those if we continue to work on the game. Also, I'm glad you appreciated the puns! :D

I'm glad you enjoyed the concept! Checkpoints are definitely a common theme among the comments, so that will be updated right after the judging is over!

I'm glad the musical progression was well received! And as someone who used to play a ton of Paper Mario, the aesthetic was quite the throwback. As for the enemy projectile, I will definitely see how I can change it so it doesn't feel cheesy (there's a whole cheese game for that!) and so it incorporates more unique mechanics to the game

Thank you for playing our game! I completely agree...checkpoints was a much needed feature for the game :(

Thank you for your kind remarks! I had completely forgotten about checkpoints, and in hindsight, it would have been a much needed addition to the game (In fact, I just finished making the system, and it'll be updated after the judging is over)!

Thank you for the feedback! :DD That is a great idea, and I'll definitely see how I can incorporate more rhythm aspects into the game!
