Loved the concept, it's such a creative take on the theme and really hits close to home! Cute style and fun twists. The side apps add a lot of life to the overall experience too. BIRD OF THE DAY SWEEP!!

incredible work, i love how the mechanics make use of the theme in multiple ways! car controls took some time to get used to, BUT won me over once i realized you could trade forward for angular speed and vice versa. the map feels sprawling and lived in (+ got some laughs out of the traffic mishaps) without being too overwhelming, and i loved how the brain showed up on the minimap. i did get stuck on rocks/curbs a few times & fell out of the map once by extending in a tight space but hey, that's jam life. stunning art style and nice tunes, it's clear that lots of creativity went into this! awesome stuff!
Using the 2D lighting package would have been smart, and I'd learn it if I ever had to make something like this again. What I ended up doing was writing a scuffed version of raytracing combined with a ridiculous amount of stencil shaders, which is why the light can look a little weird at times. I also believe that good practices should be shared and encouraged, and for that reason I'm not going to comment on how we made the shaking text...
Loved it! Usually, a game with a difficult perspective and cruel levels would be frustrating— this one is charming. I also like how it's possible to skip the second phase of each level by letting the homing spike block get close to you to touch both goals in quick succession, adding in an element of intensity.
Amazing game! The presentation immediately took me in, it looks super neat and the lighting felt great. I loved the sounds too, they really made the game feel alive. I played it to the end, and the "aha! moments" definitely were there, haha. Though I do wish there was some constant indication of each part's use, and/or which parts had already been activated. Overall, fantastic job! Excited to see what you'll all make next.
