Hey there! I think this plugin is going to really help me, but I'm running into an issue. I want to use it to remove some background text I put in the scene using the Background Text Plugin.

I use the "Display Background Text" event, and then I try to call the "Swap Tile Event" and replace the text I just displayed, but the text is still there? For instance, I write the display text at X = 2, Y=2, then I try to replace the tile at those same coordinates, but it doesn't work. Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?

Haha it started out as an idea for a hologram. Someone you could talk to during the game to like get your missions and such. But in the end, it looked like an egg head, and I kind of loved it.

The lore in my head is that Egghead is an AI and he controls the moon base.

All hail Egghead!

Interesting! I’m assuming, based on the name of the archive, it’s something my MacBook does to the ZIP. When I make the ZIP, I just write click on the folder and hit “Compress”, and the MacBook turns it into a ZIP.

Hey! Can you explain a bit more? Is the download not working for you?

I love it! It's cozy.

For clarification, the computer is drawn as if you're looking from the side slightly - the cylinder is straight on. I feel like as I'm typing this, I'm answering my own question which is "Yes", it'll be weird haha.

Decided to create art for a sci-fi platformer. I really like how I did the computer, and I tried to make a glass cylinder for plants, but do you think it'll be weird that they're not the exact same perspective?

This is such an interesting concept! It's like you're Elizabeth in Bioshock Infinite doing your best to keep booker alive.

I'd say some of the areas that might need more attention include the sprite design and some of the game mechanics. For instance, I'd love a mechanic that notifies me when my health is getting low. And it'd be great to have a way to regain health without just relying on a potion to show up?

Maybe even a boss battle could be fun!

All-in-all, great work!

I really appreciate you taking the time to play it, even though it's not your cup of tea. And the feedback is very good to know and hear. Time constraints of the jam definitely kept us from being too ambitious with the gameplay, but we'll definitely add more in there. Also, great catch on the text pushing to the right of the UI. We'll definitely fix that for future releases!

Thanks again for playing and rating :)

Thank you so much Mr.NE, I'm so glad you liked it! We definitely put a lot of heart and soul into it for the jam, so thanks for playing!

I'm glad you liked the uplifting story! More gameplay elements are definitely in the plans for future pushes. Appreciate your thoughts and rating!

Appreciate the feedback!  Glad you enjoyed it, and good feedback on the intro. We have plans to make it more engaging and better spaced. :)
