Very interesting idea.

I think things happen too fast and that affect to gameplay.

This is such an interesting concept! It's like you're Elizabeth in Bioshock Infinite doing your best to keep booker alive.

I'd say some of the areas that might need more attention include the sprite design and some of the game mechanics. For instance, I'd love a mechanic that notifies me when my health is getting low. And it'd be great to have a way to regain health without just relying on a potion to show up?

Maybe even a boss battle could be fun!

All-in-all, great work!

Thank you for playing!

I like that you though as Elizabeth in Bioshock, I really like that game XD

Advises is noted, thank you again.

This is an interesting take on the theme with regards to inventory space with an interesting core concept, but the game doesn't give good feedback with regards to what's going on and has rather glaring presentation issues.

I liked the concept and the gameplay a lot!

At first the controls seemed weird, because in most games E is 'Use', but here was for 'Cancel'. Anyway, I adapted quickly to the keys and got to the point I had a stash of little potions and started using bigger ones just to free space.

There are times in the game when it suddenly slows down a lot, when the enemies have a higher defense than the player's attack. Maybe a bomb item that hits the enemy would help in those situations to not be there just waiting for the fight to end.

I think this is the best interpretation of the theme I've seen so far. Awesome job!

Thank you for playing!

Didn't think about the E key, but it makes a lot of sense, will take more care with it next time.

And yes, there were some features that I didn't manage to make, will work harder XD

I like the concept. It's kinda like a mgmt game, which are like crack to me. It took me a second to figure the controls, but I caught on. I was imagining myself to be a knight's page running around in the background tossing weapons and other stuff into the battle. It would have been cool to see sprites battle it out, but that would have been a lot to do in 10 days. As it is, I just watched my HP meter dropping constantly and wondered why my fighter was so bad at fighting. LOL. You should keep working on this idea.  I like it!

Thank you for playing!

I like mgmt games too. XD

After a few feedbacks from here I'm really inclined to develop a better version.

I tried to play it a few times, but the item selection is a bit wonky and I couldn't discard a large sword in time. Could use a lot more feedback as to what is going on, both visual and sound. Items being stretched also looks really bad.

It's honestly an interesting take on the theme, but could use a lot more work

Will work harder next time. ;)

I have no clue what I’m supposed to do :-) sorry. Also, it seems you stretched the sprites to match the inventory grid, but forgot to disable filtering. this results in mixels and more than 4 colors.

Developer

Thank you for playing, and for the advice.

First time making a retro style game, so that is probably one of the many mistakes I might have made. XD
