A town must be protected from approaching monsters. Select the hero of your choice, level them up, acquire powers, and cleanse the world from evil creatures.

Game current features:
-4 playable characters with different starter stats
-15 in-game upgrades
-6 permanent upgrades
-A saving system that allows you to continue your game in the next session and carry on for the following game updates
-And much more that It's yours to discover

Mab0r0shi created the core gameplay for the OpenGameArt's Summer Game Jam 2022, and still working on it as a solo developer.

Enjoy,

ahahah j'adore le nom

" It is a just image, I have been working on Attack Animation " do it and ill use it for sure

Good job! It was really nice to pogo the boss, i wish i could pogo a second and harder one too

It would have been nice to have a scoreboard of the last runs, volume control and an exit button.
Other than that I enjoyed the experience.

The game is fun, a bit too short but a good level of intensity while it last. I would have liked to have some upgrades, a better view of what colour is coming next and the colour switch keys a confusing a bit. Overall really good and it has good potential.

The game is nice but can be finished too quickly. A moving visual of the slime could have been nice and i wonder, what does that turning arrow even do? Simple but effective.

Thanks, we are glad you had fun.

Heyyyy Thanks for playing the game .Btw i somehow found you on youtube and whatched your videos and your accent kinda sold your location ahah. as we come from the same place i decided to follow you here of course and I'm really glad you came by and try the game.

Thanks for the suggestion, Yes as you said, we packed with the starter content, Yes it would have been better to remove it from the game before packing XD just ddnt think about that since we literally fixed bugs and tweaked stuff till the last minute. I would like to talk to you on discord too, if possible. ( can we even post discord link here ? )

I will lookat your link, it should help event if we packed with U5 and have some differences.

-For your first suggestion, there is already an Exp bar. It is at the very top, the color isn't that flashy tho and I'm not sure if its the right color but ill surely change it a bit in the future patch.
-The +1 max HP, True, a hp+1 would be more straightforward for the player.
-About the permanent upgrades, i had some friends who played and it took them 2 or 3 games to reach 5000+ ( it double once you pick one ) but i agree, maybe it would be more suitable to be lower

We really appreciate your comment and thanks again :)

Hi there,

I am Mab0r0shi, one of the developers of Slime Masters; a hyper casual shoot 'em up game
made in Unreal Engine by a small team of 4 students.

The game was made for the OpenGameArt's Summer Game Jam 2022. It took us about 3 weeks to complete (and still under development).

We would appreciate you playing the game and giving us feedback.

Thanks!

We are glad you had fun! Thanks for the review.

I'm glad you had fun! Yes, some upgrades are better than others. We would have loved to add more content like a second character and more variety of slimes but with the limited time remaining before the due date we could not.
Still, we are proud of the result.  :)
Thanks for playing and for the feedback.

Gameplay is good, level design too. It is a bit too easy imo but still good.
I like the fact that there is more than one type of enemy that we can possess.
It feels like a child game and i don't think it's a bad thing. Good job

Images speak for themselves...

Lighting auto adaptation,

Bullet that doesn't connect to any of the enemies,

I could shoot while reloading.

Sprinting while crawling as fast as standing? maybe, i don't know because,

YES, i was stuck in a crawling position.

I managed to collect every little thing in the game but I could not beat the boss.

I had fun even if platforming and 2d games isn't my style at all.

I downloaded it, tried to run it in Unreal but i could not test it at all. Part of the map and gameplay seems to be missing.

Sometimes the bushes hitbox block the character sometimes not.

I had a terrible lag throughout my gameplay, felt like 20 fps.

The flickering of the meshes that collide with each other and fight for which one will be on top is everywhere.

I know you used Vezmo's shooting template for your character, that is why shooting does not feel right most of the time, especially for the range of the gun.

The cam does not always follow the character.

I played for about 30 min and I could not have fun because of the FPS drop and the shooting issue, sorry.

The unbuild light, the visible trigger box, the 4or 8k texture that trop the fps and the use of plain that was not connected properly with  the terrain and transparent from the back.

the "game" really feel unfinish.

The furthest i could go is at the big door or at some kind of platform that i could access with a hole in the ground where meshes were not properly placed.

really nice game. ive put 4/5 because i had a little glicth for the item display on the top right. it was flashing. the other reason is that i would like to see a progression somewhere even after diying.
