Tried this game a few times, but I keep having trouble swapping the surfboard if I do not switch before I hit the new color. I just spent quite a while stuck on a pink section with my board refusing to change from blue. Not sure if it is a glitch or just something that is effecting me since no one else has mentioned this. That does sound like a bug - you should at least be able to jump and switch even if stationary on the wrong colour. We'll look into it!

You are welcome. If it helps, I am using Chrome on a PC.

The game is fun, a bit too short but a good level of intensity while it last. I would have liked to have some upgrades, a better view of what colour is coming next and the colour switch keys a confusing a bit. Overall really good and it has good potential.

Developer

Hey there, I’m glad you found it fun. Thanks for taking the time to leave some feedback for improvements too 👍

Bug where you seem to fall forever but other than that it was fun.

Very well made! The game had an almost professional look and feel to it.

Only one issue, as someone who is colour blind, I found that the colour of the slime for A and S was very similar and hard to tell the difference between. However, this was mostly fixed by the key prompts on the wall.

Overall, a Great Game. Good Job!

Thank you!

That's great feedback. If we develop the game further, we'll be sure to test the contrast between colours and prompts better, so it's accessible for everyone :)

Not sure if you've already heard of it or a similar program, but there's a colorblind filter you can download called ColorOracle. It opens in your system tray and clicking on the icon allows you to view your screen through filters for the three main types of colorblindness.

That’s really useful, thanks.

The colours are great, aren't they? Glad you enjoyed, and thanks for playing!

Wow... nice entry. Great idea to have a slime slider I was wondering why I was stucked then I found you can change the color in the air and just after that i found a sing that says that.

It's funny, exciting and smooth.
Good work

Thanks!

Good work! Very cool game. Just a think mabye put the same sound to jump and change color is a bit confused because I jump I heard the sound so in my head I was Ok I changed color! (Mabye I'm just stupid) But other than that I see this game with another level can released

Developer

Thanks a lot! I think the jump and switch sounds are different but perhaps too similar. You're right though, it's important that they can be distinguished.

Developer

Great thought about the sounds - thanks for the feedback, and thanks for playing!

I really enjoyed the game. The slowdowns taught you how to play midgame, and that was a great idea. Good job : )

Developer

ah thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed the tutorial bit!

Developer

Cool! Thank you so much! Glad you liked the tutorial system.

Excellent choice of graphics, the music you chose fits perfectly as well.

Gameplay is a neat idea, there's an app in there somewhere. I especially enjoyed the death screen.

Thanks for the game! :)

Neat gameplay, and the graphics and sounds blend very well  to make the experience enjoyable. I love the character expressions when accelerating / decelerating.

The board seems to switch to purple whenever you jump without pushing A, S or D. The command prompts are a little too tiny when you go fast. Maybe you could stick them to the camera when slime color is about to change?

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Great idea to attach the command prompts to the camera.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! That's a nice idea. Perhaps it could be a kind of coloured countdown. Like a pink/blue/green bar. Along the bottom of the screen that drains as you get closer to that colour slime.

Nice! I like how the guy gets angry when I don't do well.
