Thank you so much for the feedback! To be honest, I wasn't very excited about the gameplay loop either, so I stopped working on the game a few days into the jam. 😅 As for the stoping the car as they first appear, I know it stops the traffic forever—it was a quick fix for another problem I was facing, lol. The only "penalty" for doing this is that your score will be low if you complete the game that way since you gain a multiplier for each car that successfully passes.

Thank you so much! My biggest inspirations here were a Neopets mini-game called "Kass Basher" and the amazing "Super Toss The Turtle"

all done!

Thank you so much!!

Thank you so much for playing and this feedback  ♥

Very different and creative approach to the theme, nice job.

Feels very polished and it's an interesting idea. Couldn't pass level 5 :( I'm very curious about the solution.

I really like the controls! The use of the button combinations is smart.
The phase the ship position changes was so hard!! Everytime I teleported out of the ship made me so mad hahaha

So fun! It's difficult but addicting. Managed to put my name on the leaderboard twice for now. Nice job!

Thank you so much!

This was a loooot of fun! When the ball starts to bounce off the objects in the middle and the movement becomes unpredictable, it's even more fun hahaha nice job!

Sometimes, as soon as I pressed play again, the game over screen showed up again... :( But overall, super creative idea and nice movement (though it's hard!)

Took me a while to manage the controls, but once I got it, it was pretty satisfying delivering the little aliens.

It's kinda easy but I was having a good time drifting my spaceship waiting for new enemies to spawn lol

hello! this is my game: https://itch.io/jam/solo-dev-game-jam-4/rate/2926736

Thank you for playing and this nice comment! <3

Thank you for playing and the nice feedback!

Thank you! I tried to include a nice progression system but nothing was working the way I wanted heh

Thanks for playing!

super creative!! Best use of the theme I've seen so far

I don't know if I am just bad but the attack felt a little strange because of the charge, maybe if you could walk while charging would be nice... But overall, really nice work

nice idea

hey! this is my game: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-11/rate/2534307

Game Title/URL:  oh, honey

Pitch/Information: clicker/idle game where you produce honey.

I had so much fun making this game! Tried so make this simple but enjoyable.  There's a lot of stuff I wanted to do but couldn't because of work but overall I am proud of the result for a first jam <3

Game Title/URL:  oh, honey

Pitch/Information: clicker/idle game where you produce honey.

I'd like feedback on: if it's fun and if the increase of stats, costs and stuff are working well, but anything is welcome <3

Oh your art is so cuteeee! I followed you there.
About expanding the game, knowing myself, I'll probably never touch the project again after the jam hahah but I can picture how the game would look with your art, really loved it!

Hahaha it's like a honey river? The art is lame yet, but it's supposed to be the honey overflowing of the mountain after the mining or something like that

Little update! Been experimenting some upgrade ideas, I already have 6 upgrades and I want to create more 6 until the end of the jam. Also, added some chill music and resolved some bugs.

I think next fews days I'll start a little menu screen too =)

Thank you!!

Hi, thank you! I've been working with development/programming for some years now so I just try to do things with the knowledge I have, if I get stuck or don't know something I reasearch etc. And I'm doing this game with construct 3 so all I really need is my logic skills and understand the tools that the software give me =)

Some updates from my day 2.

  •  Implemented a formatter for the numbers
  • The upgrades costs make more sense and scales with the game
  • The upgrades part is in a separated window that opens when you click the upgrade button
  • Created upgrades that only appears if you bought another upgrade already

- Now I want to focus on deciding what will the upgrades really be and put them all in game =)

Hahaha I really like the drones idea! Probably gonna go this direction with the upgrades

Hello, this is my first time participating in a game jam! I'm working alone, trying to practice my game development and pixel art skills.

I decided to make a chill clicker game that you produce honey.

Some screenshots of my first day progress:

- First day I focused on having the base mechanics of clicking, earning honeys and added some upgrades to test. Also, I made some pixel art to get a feeling of the direction the game would go. The background is from an asset I got here on itch.io.

- For the second day I plan to add more upgrades and make their cost and progression better and make a separated window pop up for the upgrades.

Any suggestions are appreciated <3

That's it for today, if you read until here, thank you so much and sorry for any grammar mistakes, English is not my first language :)
