How does your game fit the theme?
After each platforming level, there is are one or more doors, where you can open one. there might be more hp, less hp, or a lvl3 boss after the tutorial level.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote the code myself, and used public domain assets. Credits are in the game page and the credits screen.

I really love the procedural nature of the game. Feels like with a bit more of work you can have a extremely fun take on the rogue-like in platformers. Good job!

Great game, I love the thunder power skill ^^. Btw, i stuck in boss 2 (4 times)

That is weird

Some really nice jumping physics with maybe the exception of coyote time, the bosses were pretty fun and a good break to the platforming sections, also not sure if its a bug but whenever i fell off the map i got reset with full hp which did make some things like the spikes not really much of an issue

Developer

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it! I have fixed the heart issue but cant update during voting.

Preety fun game! would recomend adding some coyote time for jumping, it was fun to fight with bosses but I only had lvl1 and 3 ones and unlocked only 3 first weapons before te door did not work and - I assume it was the end of lvls. Overall fun game, great job and congratulations on your first completed jam!

Thoroughly enjoyed the game, could definitely see myself continuing to play it, but had a weird (maybe expected or not) bug that the game no longer allowed me to progress after a certain amount of levels, the door opened but I did not progress to the next room. Also I think background music could be a great quick little addition, but the audio effects were nice. Also, I'm not sure if I was just unlucky but there seemed to be a greater probability to get health rather than fighting bosses, I really wanted to test out the weapons but I rarely saw many bosses. In summary, I think this game was really simple yet extremely fun, and I also love the changing of textures on the tiles.

Developer

i have added music, increased boss chances, reduced repetition of door content, and will fix your issue. Releasing update after voting

This is a fun platformer and I like the mix of roguelike and platformer. I'd like the challenge to ramp a bit more as the game progresses, but that could definitely be a personal preference kinda thing. Really great work especially for your first finished game. Congrats!

great choice of assets! i also like that the door has multiple purposes! good job!

Excellent execution on a very solid idea! Everything feels smooth and fun to play, I really had a blast! Great work!!

This is a great first game, frankly; congratulations. I have one suggestion. Add coyote time to the jump. If you don't know what this is, look it up. It'll make your games better. I also noticed one bug: the boss can run off the platform when chasing you, which doesn't kill it, which forces the player to restart the game.  Other than that, good job, and keep it up!

Congratulation for that first game. Its very clean, i didnt saw any bug. It could be cool to add something for the player to track his progression cause some time i had the feelings to turn around. Also small tips for your doors try use an input that will be use only for interactions.

Very cute game! Congratulations on your first ended  game! The game turned out to be dynamic and relevant to the theme! The only thing I advise is not to restore HP after each door, the significance of this HP is so lost.

Hey great job, felt challenging but fair. Would be great if you added some visual feedback when getting hit or hurting an enemy, like the sprite blinking in and out for a bit. That said, I had a lot of fun overcoming the bosses and platforming

Developer

I have heard, i have added visual feedback, but cant upload an update until voting is finished

Neat! I look forward to trying it out again after the jam

i unlocked the fireball and the power of zeus!  i liked the gameplay, but wouldve been better if it was less random and had certain levels leading to an ending... good game though!

Beautiful game, even if it's a bit too hard for me! I just wanted to mention that the sound when you hit spikes is sooo annoying, but at least it serves as good motivation to stop hitting them >:D

really ncie game and very cute character :D a background would be nice, I love the design if the bosses, they look really good :D gg

I think I broke the game for playing too many levels. Does it have an ending? It was a bit frustrating not having more feedback on damage and I felt the player collision box was too big sometimes, but it was very playable, very fair in general.

Nice clean looking game. I think the player hitbox could be a bit more forgiving, and I wish I didn't have to click on the doors (maybe press E or something for the door I'm closest to?) Some music would help too, but nice job overall!
