Very ambitious for a game jam game. I had some difficulties commanding the people after I had ordered them to gather materials and dismantle/mantle walls at the same time...I think in the end they went on a union strike
Also when making the walls I had no idea about the logic of door or going through the walls cuz this this our fort, so I may have made the furnace unaccusable. Oops. Nevertheless neat jam game!

Firsts things first: Love the writing! It was obvious that you didn't have the time for complex coding or art, so you relied on your sense of humor and there's nothing wrong with that. Idk if the inclusion of regular playing cards is more or less funny now that Balatro exists, But is was cool either way. Selling a 10$ bill for 23$ made me feel like businessman of the century!
There was not much of a storm though and I didn't find a lose condition. Even failing the feather minigame didn't lead to a game over. It has the potential for a really silly self-aware game but I need some really silly stakes and game over conditions.
All in all good job working with what you have
The game is very simple but I think that's what makes it enjoyable. Gameplaywise all of the necessary elements are there, although it would've been nice to know how are the goofballs comparable in damage. I did not know that Hitter > Wizard 0_0
The difficulty is just right for a jam game and the time capped at 3 or so minutes feels enough to show everything it has to offer. (btw I'm still in endless as I'm writing this 11+ minutes and it shows no signs of breaking my offensive defense!)
One small nitpick as an artist. When the coin spins the shading spins with it as if light source is rotating around it.
Over a neat little game. I like it!
Edit: I died at 84:23 by an enemy that somehow flew above all of my goofballs! I wasn't looking to know how and around the 30 minute mark it started lagging which worsened near the end
An interesting game to be sure. Having to choose which upgrade is the best to not lose is always challenging. I've seen a lot of games in this jam *cough* including ours *cough* struggle with balancing upgrades and have a winning combination. I understand the theme and the little time you have for making it, but having an intense fight with an enemy pirate ship would've been cool as a boss battle. Nevertheless this was a solid experience. Good job
That was a really fun game! I really love the idea of you choosing your enemies based on their attck type and monetary reward. At first I didn't really get the premise so I planted tomatoes everywhere and immediately regreted my life choices. And after that I did it again! The balancing is a bit off though; On my second run I didn't plant corn because their attacks were way too chaotic and still had lots of money going into the boss. The upgrade system felt nice and after knowing what the boss had in store it relly stremlined my choices in the second run. Everywhere in the upgrades it is written as danage, which I know was a mistake but after a while it grew on me :)
I think there was a potential theme for a previous game jam which was "You reap what you sow" where this would've fit perfectly!
The audio was too quiet for me but overall a nice jam game! GJ
Whenever I try the Rainbow challenge mode my game crashes at the first gym leader. Also after the crash if I open another save file the random events have their names mismatched (e.g. Level up icon with the text 'free holo'). The names go back to normal after I defeat a gym leader in that save file.
