hey Lucas! do you have discord?

Hello! I'm a Godot game developer and I'm looking for an artist and a musician for this jam.

Cute drawings and amazing idea, my favorite part about the game is the curtains transition, it's so simple but still so creative! And the game fits the console well.

Hi! I ran through this error as soon as I put the game on the PlayDate emulator.

nice game!

this is the best game so far! i really like the game and storyline, it's literally well-made!!!

i can't believe this game was only made in 5 days, great job (:

nice game! the most game that affected me and really felt, amazing!

nice game, i really like the kind of art you did there, not professional but suits the theme!

i really like the game!! didn't expect the jam would have a 3d game but you guys made it, although the game is still incomplete, i liked the idea and i think y'all should work more on the game and put some easter eggs around the map so the player can know more about the back story of the game and how they ended up in this place.

anyway, i know it's hard to make a 3d game in only 5 days, good job and let me know if you need help improving this game, i'd like to help (:

nice game (:

i really liked this mini-game. it's adorable and i really like the graphics!

but the only thing missing is music and sound effects, but good job (:

I'd say tabletop games are acceptable, cause why not.

And you can try to find a team/partner to help you convert your tabletop game to a video game.

Hey FredBob!
Thank you so much for playing my game and for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I apologize for the bugs you experienced while playing. The game was made for a jam that only lasted for 7 days, and I only had 2 days to work on it. I will consider your feedback for future projects.
Thank you again for playing and for taking the time to leave a comment!
Edit: Do you mind putting your video in the game's description?

Hey!

I joined the previous Game Boy Showdown, which was last year, and I remember that the jam didn't have a discord server, we used to text in GB Studio's discord server instead. Does the jam still use GB Studio's server? Or does it have its discord server now?

Also if the host doesn't mind,  I can create a discord server (community) for the jam, so it can be easier to team up and share our progress!

hello there, i've also been using godot for a while, and i would like to have a team to join the jam with, please let me know if you're interested.

Nope,  just the music.

And I wrote at the second line in the description that the game made using GB Studio and that means it's normal to use the game engine's assets just by writing the game engine's name in the description.

I remember that I made the variable return to 0 after you win the level but maybe I forgot to do it in some levels or something.

And yeah I think if I added a rolling by pressing "B" or a pet chasing the player would be better, but idk is it ok to update the game after the submission or not.

Anyways thanks for your suggestions and comment :)

Thank you!

I'll try to improve the movement system next time and idk how level 2 started counting from 0 but maybe if you restart the level it will work well.

Thanks for your suggestion btw :)

Thank you so much for your feedback!

Glad to see you playing my game on Game Boy and liked my game :)

I don't consider the music an asset because it came with GB Studio and in that frame  a lot of people used and no one wrote that it's an asset.

Pretty cool game!
Also, my little brother liked the "Vladimort Putane" asteroid :)
The blind version was nice (Ofc the one for sighted people was better) but I really liked it tho.

Great job!

Dude, I saw your progress on Twitter and I liked it.
But I didn't expect it was gonna be that cool!!
I like the Mechanics, the Level Design, the Music and a lot more.

Keep going!

I liked the idea of the game and its little story :)

These questions that Suzy asked me were kinda hard and idk if I answered them right or wrong haha.

Fortunately, I finished the game at the last minute!

Should the game be black and white or may it be colored (like Game Boy Color games)?
