BRo I tried your game and beaten all the level. I must say your design is much more fun than the one I have. I didn't watch twister movie. But I watch some documentaries of tornado to make this game, and our game isn't really similar to real storm chaser, but its fine. I'm sure there's people who came up with the same idea as us but I wasn't expecting to have same red car lol (I guess strong car is red). We we're actually going to make it 3d at first but my friend thought of 2.5D and we stick to it.

Bro, congrats on joining your first game jam man. First, game jam usually have a theme that is released when the jam started. For this game jam, the theme is 'calm before the storm'. Which your game should be design to some what fit the theme. For example, you could say 'calm before the storm' is a metaphor for a brief period before something chaotic happen and build a game like preparing the store before it open.
You could interpreted the theme anyway you want as long as it is based on the original theme.
Anyway your not selfish and don't be sorry for the game not getting likes. Game jam are meant to improve the process of making game, and everyone got to start somewhere. I'm sure people did not meant to insult you, and I apologize for my first commenting being rude.

I have no Idea how the merchant work, but this is a really cute game. I wish there were more polishes though as one of the most important aspect of how a game is fun is determine by its JUICY NESS or POLISH. The level design is actually pretty cool with ramping difficulty mechanics, I like the creeper skeleton guy. And this game would definitely be x999 more fun with polish like effects when hitting and sound effects. I also couldn't tell how much hp the skeleton has left, especially on the big guy(I thought he was a boss). So I would recommend adding sprite for damaged skeleton or health bar.

bro I actually like the idaes lmao. Its very funny your technique is so powerful that it take long time to charge. The combat is kind of similar to dst(dont starve together) where you need to let the enemy use attack animation and then you attack it after. I would say this game is really difficult and in my opinion the learning curve is too fast. Also menu button is not working?
Overall great game, great concept, the level design could have some improve and the sound effects and music is really neat! Great job!
Edit1 : I think it would be cool to have some effect with fully charge attack, maybe the character flash like in some game where when the cool is finished there a little flash on the character. I like how you sound effects on the charging, it really help with the timing on the charge.
Edit 2: Boss is really hard and everytime I die I need to restart, and the first part I already master so I wish there is a way I could just fight the boss without restarting the entire game.
I didn't do anything, and there was nothing when I enter the gas station. I just downloaded the game again and retrying it again and there is now a gas station ui. I'll be trying the game again and give a feedback. After trying the game out second time I notice that the game is extremely hard, you needed to get 2 passenger to even have enough money to spend on full gases, the upgrade that you wanted is outed of my list. If it is true that you can't fill your gases during tornado then, I'm not sure how was I suppose to beaten the tornado to get to the end screen. (my guesses is I should afk?)
Yes! You are of course welcome to game deving, and it is good to start on a game jam. My criticism are meant to improve the game, I'm sorry if I was being harsh. I'm glad you learn a lot of game jammin,g and it is one of the best experience to get for game dev in my opinion. One question I have though is how is your game fitted with the theme.
I don't see how this game fit the theme at all. How is this 'calm before the storm'. The control is pretty hard to use, you also can't control how high you jump. The sound effects are pretty ok. And the game is very hard and frustrating, which make me not finishing the game. If you want people to be more invested in your game, maybe slowly introduce the mechanics and make the game gradually harder.
Anyway don't see how this is related to the theme.
This game is soo goofy I love it. First of all I would like to point out the mechanics of chasing the chicken closer to the hen to collect the faster is a really cool ideas actually. I first thought this game is really hard but it turns out you just need some strategy into it. Second the sound effects is also really goofy I love, the storm sound is just someone blowing the mic and the chicken sound is soo funny. Third, a complaint, the turning is not very good. Just moving the mouse a little bit will already turn the character even though I didn't move my mouse much which is pretty annoying. You also can't can't turn very fast. Great concept. Great work.

Oh 2nd complaint I wish the shot gune spread were more accurate, like when you have a lot of bullet count instead of being like shot gun where the area of damage is 'V' the area of damage was actually half 'O' or half a circle. This make taking a lot of bullet count not worth it and less satisfying way to enjoy the game.
Third complaint, I wish the boss have an indicator of what attack it is going to performs. It really is a luck boss fight some time.

Ohh Myy GoD. THIS GAME IS PEAK. Wow this is a really fun rougelike game, and I really like how you implemented it with the theme of calm before the storm. Its also gives the risk reward mechanics, so you can decide to greed to get more money. The boss is also absolutely amazing and at the end game when you get really strong the bullet becomes extremely satisfying.
One complaint I have is the tomato at the start is really repetitive, everytime you die you need to plant all the tomato and it's not hard to beat them but instead it take time.
The art is really great, they looks astonishing. I thought this was gonna be an escape-room type of game, but turn out it was a point and click story game I guess. I couldn't really understand the mechanics but the timer was cool, although I got jump scared a bit though when the red guy come drag me.
