Keep the shield in front of us doesn't feel engaging enough. I think it would work better if asteroids were slower, but coming from every direction. Also I think scoring system doesn't work.
Excellent game, my favourite so far :). Very cool progression. At some point I was receiving very few block to mount weapons on, so my progress felt very sluggish, but despite that I had a lot of fun. I wish there was a full release :)
Yeah, I rarely finish it myself :D. Might have gone a bit too far near the end, because most of the time it was super easy. That's a good lesson, keep tweaking difficulty during development, even when features are missing!
I like that it reminds me of Space Invaders and Jeff Minter's games (e.g. Tempest) at the same time. I wish the grid was more visible for clarity, but I can appreaciate trying to have minimal GUI.
Very fun launching mechanic, but the game is a little broken and I got stuck on the edge of the screen. Static Enemies spawning on the edge also were a little confusing.
