Which Highscore do you have?

The visuals are cool, the humor funny and the music nice... the gameplay of the actual guitar is a bit clunky

Odly satisfying, feels very polished, kinda addicting.
All in all a fun little game.

Oh, interesting

Thanks, yes a difficulty curve is already on the list and I can add the more sound effect point too ^^

Thank you! ^ ^

Nice! Well it's very hard, even if you know the controls after 200 deaths and sometimes, when you are on a wall, the jump height isn't really always how it should be. For example if I hold long the character sometimes jumps the actual height he should jump but sometimes a really short height (even short than if you tap spacebar)...

The game has a nice diversity, I didn't get far but already after the first narrow section a new mechanic is introduced (the platforms that switch when you jump)... maybe a bit early but thats ok i think.

Yes, watch out for dropping Firework sticks! XD (Are there even cases about that, never heard of one)

The Result screen is already on the list along with a movement block when you hit the ground. I maybe need to dive into WebGL to solve the problem with the bar.

Thanks for the Feedback, very nice!

Thanks!

Yes, i skipped the implementation of an difficulty curve, I also planned that you need to avoid the Birds on the way up and then hit them on the way down but I also skipped that. Another two points to add later, thanks ! ^ ^

I noticed the part with bonking the object above one. but where too stupid too actually actively use and look upwards...

On the problem with the rise I can't really imagine a good other way to implement it, sorry

Yes, gonna look into that

Lovely, nice implementation! I had a "similar" idea but you definitely did a better job with it in general ^^

hmh, I will implement Menus after the Jam, it is already on the list

Yes, I'll keep mind of that, thanks :D

Thank you ^^

After almost 20 floors that I cleared, I can say it's pretty fun, although the jumping up (as mentioned by Casper) is very annoying. I also can say that the performance drops a lot over time, maybe it's just my device. The Graphics match each other really well. Maybe there would be a way to implement the rising part of theme other than jumping

Awe thanks^^

Lovely

Nothing, it's the end. Yes should have made it clear XD

Not much, sadly. The type of "generation" I used is moving the objects that are out of screen to a random position infront of the player, in direction of its movement. With platforms a bit more logic is needed than that. For example not completely random but on a specific spacing and random on the x axis and and and...

Very Interesting, I also had the bug with the red area... It's unique with the 3D style

A bit more interaction options would be nice. (If there are some then I probably never saw them).
Could be a bit more scary in my opinion too. ^^

Same here, you can see my feedback on your page

The Graphics give a nice matching image, though the character looks a bit out of place.
Yes, the controls could have some fine tuning.
And as far es I can tell is this a pre-build world. You could raise the replay ability by generating it even if it seems like more work in the first place, it counters the building and testing.

Overall a nice game.

You nailed it.

Yes, I used Wine and the Windows version right after I got the error. Just wanted you to know that there was an error ^^.

I planned to let them on the stick but dropped it, Maybe I'll change that later

The black balls where the powder you need to collect in order to fill up the fuel bar on the top. If you didn't see that bar, play it in fullscreen.

And Feedback noted.

I'll take the advice and do that after the Jam is over ^^, thanks for the feedback.

Yes I wanted to make some 8 bit sound but didn't know the tool, so I dropped it to waist no time.

I like it, but never got really far, I died pretty quick even with following the advice.
The Game has a cool retro pixel art look, nice choice. It also has a nice replay ability because of the generated Map and the will to survive longer. The Window could be a bit bigger though.

Overall a nice game.

Yes it is in the same folder.
I edited it with a normal Text editor (only the first few lines were readable, rest was crypted, just in case that is important) and changed it, same error but with "java" instead.

When i want to execute the sh file of the Mac&Linux build, an error appears , saying:
"The Island.sh: 3: /jre/bin/java.exe: not found"

Refreshing Game! Wasn't expecting that mechanic. All the Textures really match each other, I had fun and I can clearly see the use of the Theme.

After some short moment of fiddling i knew how to cut the tree the right way.
The game has a very solid level count und with the nice doable difficulty it stretches the playtime.

The movement could have some fine tuning and I had some moments where i could not jump at all and needed to restart.

Interesting gameplay, matching graphics and sound, easy controls.

Though it feels a bit stiff  everywhere, and it is a little short for my taste

This game is pretty simple, I like the way how the animations are just squishing the objects.
Don't really know what an effect the "Spider want's to eat... but it's already winter!" aspect has other than some atmospheric snow. I mean there is no challenge with the eating other than avoiding the toxic flies...

Eh.. Yeah i didn't know what to do, i mean yes clicking in the first part and building in the second.
I don't know what the clicking in the first part achieved.
No challenge in both, in second you just need to wait until you magically had enough resources and then click to create the given things.

Sadly there is no game to rate... Update me when it's uploaded

A minigame. Keeping the feather in the bar is more occupation than fun. The graphics matched to each other but were a bit flat.

Could be a bit more interesting in my opinion, like adding a bit more diversity in gameplay..

I liked the game, solid graphics, easy controlls and a simple to understand.
But hard to master, the lack of feedback when the enemies will shoot (even when they shoot in periodic spaces) makes it almost unpredictable if you get/got hit, particularly when you are close to the player (you need to get close).
I think with a bit of feedback before the enemy shoots (be it a color change of the enemy or something), sounds and a way to maybe dodge the bullets now and then, this would be a great game with much potential to grow!

I am thinking of levels, more enemy types, maybe a story (of course not in the time of the Jam but maybe later)
