Fits the theme, has gameplay, has lore, has fire art, and is cool. Checks all the boxes! The gameplay is kinda hard to figure out though, and kind of straightforward; The level would be more fun if there were obstacles (like the cars, give them hitboxes!), but it's cool to learn the mechanics of the bombs and use them to your advantage. Bonus points for the story button, really cool!
Fits the theme perfectly, but I had a lot of trouble understanding what to do, how to do it, and the huge amount of buggy things happening didn't help. It's a great MVP, and it has a lot of cool features, but to put it simply, there's too much backend and not enough frontend. The physics are cool; You actually think almost realistically about how to arrange your machine, which is really cool. Good shit, but could be better.
Really fucking cool! I played with my wood train tracks for hours every day when I was younger, this took me right back to those good old days. The solutions were interesting and creative, and like Sander said very cool and out of the box. If this was like one of those offline android games with hundreds of levels I would probably spend multiple plane flights and car rides replaying this game. It doesn't fit the theme very well, except if it directs to the player (me) being stupid and working.
Thanks for the extensive feedback!
I've considered actually building this game out further, but yeah... As it is build in FrogeEngine (based on Monogame) creating scenes and objects is hundreds of lines of code. I only used it because I had no alternatives. me and Matz already decided to keep working on Scrap Defense, building it out to an open world game (Scrap Wings). Maybe one day :3
