I think the controls play much better on a controller, they could use more cooking on keyboard to get to feeling like the controller(very very sensitive compared to the controller), thanks for playing

They do, I was more referring to there's some gameplay shenanigans to be had like in some games that center their action on physics. I was getting to top speed and doing wild stuff with changing directions, it almost has a flying/airgame component to it like Rocket League

Car platformer with physics! One of the 2 most fun games I've played this jam. Bibley is awesome "Live by the sword die by the car"

Fun audio design and use of the "right" sounds to marry to 16 bit visuals, which are also a treat. A little more feedback about fighting would be helpful, I took a little bit to figure out what I was doing before I started taking everything down, I thought dashing was attacking at first for some reason.

I like the idea of a haunted computer and going through file systems. Mini games like that always get me going in other games. I had no problem until the end, and then I got decently confused before figuring it out. A little more audio might have been nice, the effects that are there are appropriate and nice.

Real cool idea, our first brainstorming session included a haunted cat game so its funny to see someone else's braincells were vibrating like that too. Really simple idea design wise that just works as a high score "one more run" game

Devilishly simple idea. We kicked around a cat game during brainstorming, really fun idea for a game. Everyone wants to be the cat knocking stuff without having to clean it up

Thanks for making it! I love Enter the Gungeon, and damn if it doesnt remind me of it in the best way.

Really cool concept. I was itching for someone to do a PS1 style escape room game (think the way old RE did puzzles). The narrative reminds me a bit of Anmesia The Last Descent oddly enough. One of the more original jam entries I've played and I only got lost a couple of times (so good job on giving the player enough to go by)

Really fun game. Probably the most fun one in the jam that I've played and/or seen. Love the SFX for shooting, the click when you're out of ammo, and the reload. The aiming and shooting feels super smooth, game has perfect performance, and just for extra completion points, there's basically a full options menu.
The game is polished enough it feels like I'm playing a demo for a full product more than a jam entry.

Really like the vision cone and idea for the game. Firefox had problems for me with performance, I didnt download the game but I'm pretty sure that's the way to go if you're having issues with it. Going a little bit faster would be nice, the audio stuff was cool but audio controls would be nice (I think you did volume wise to not really destroy people's ears so I mean good on erring on the side of caution there). First game jam ever and only you? Pretty cool.

Really coulda used some audio controls, cool 3D horror vibe. Moving around feels good, controls are natural. A little more to do would have been nice (like a puzzle to solve with the stuff you're picking up, even though you already kind of are).

Thanks for the response, I guess my performance problems on Firefox were not just an aberration :X

(1 edit)

I cant replicate the crash, what browser and input method?

Except for me
