wow. thoroughly impressed with this entry! there's a lot of polish here and the puzzles felt good. not too challenging or frustrating. art was charming. the plot and mechanics were also well implemented in this game and parallel universes are something i have seen yet this jam, so well done with a unique concept that was well executed. i did get stuck after the carpets puzzle which im sad about bc i really wanted to finish this, but maybe i missed something or encountered a bug. overall really well done, i had a lot of fun with this project!
Fun game, I love the art and the puzzles. I enjoyed the option to switch characters. Great job!
Pretty nice game. Good puzzles. The last ones put my neurons to work. Haha! Really liked the mechanic of changing into characters con different capabilities. Great entry.
I liked the puzzles in this game a lot, though I got stuck at the last part? Spoilers: I didnt know what to do after I heard the ghostly moan from the conservatory.

Ah what a cool concept! Parallel universes with puzzles that span across them, so cool, would love to see this expanded on! I will say, the puzzle clues did feel a bit simple. They mostly boiled down to "there is a thing in a place, go interact with it", and I feel like a game like this could greatly benefit from some more substantial puzzles. There were some good ones in there though, like [SPOILERS] the puzzle at the back of the hallway with lining up the pictures and the carpets, which took me a bit to figure out (in a good way). But puzzle games are hard (I would know, I've made one before
, and it wasn't very good). This is a great effort for 9 days! I will also mention the sounds, or lack thereof. The interaction sounds, though simple, did help, but footstep sounds or just transition sounds when walking between rooms would have helped made the game feel more real, more lively. Also some simple ambient or spooky music could have livened up this game a lot and made it a bit more enjoyable. All that said, I think you nailed some of the most important aspects, like the story, the setting, the overall concept, and fitting with the theme. Great job!Really cool concept. I was itching for someone to do a PS1 style escape room game (think the way old RE did puzzles). The narrative reminds me a bit of Anmesia The Last Descent oddly enough. One of the more original jam entries I've played and I only got lost a couple of times (so good job on giving the player enough to go by)
Interesting game, I like the idea of switching between different characters to solve puzzles though at some point this seemed to just break for me and I the red guy just despawned and the green guy appeared in the room where I last left red. I don't really know what happened but think I switched characters as i left the top right bedroom.
I did end my playthrough early because of the bug, but I had a fun time playing!
hmmm, weird.
sorry to hear that you werent able to finish it, but glad you had fun.
I love it very much until I encounter a bug which prevented me from going further... Text box were getting buggy, and after I moved the furniture in the kitchen to clear the door way, it kept telling me "The door is unmovable" when I interacted with something. Samething happened with the bath, kept telling me the bath was full even when I interacted with toilet paper etc... :c
Hi, thanks for playing.
It seems like you've come across the same bug as another player. I'm chatting with the organisers about uploading a fix.
Game updated to fix the bug.
The text was a bit hard to read on the main menu. Character animation sometimes looks weird, like some parts of it are in the wrong place. As Boblobbyslob said it wasn't always clear when a puzzle was solved. But other than that it was a pretty fun game and a great first game jam entry.
I really enjoyed this one. It felt very original, the puzzles were engaging but not too difficult so I was able to complete it. There were some bugs but nothing game breaking. Nice little twist at the end as well.
My only feedback would be that it wasn't always clear that you'd completed a puzzle, I just had to look around and see if any more doors were open.
There is an audio cue when a door opens, but a visual cue is probably a good idea too.
Definitely seems bugged. I think it might have something to do with interacting with stuff while two characters are within range of an interactable.
I love the art style though and the way the UI feels. It takes me back to the old adventure games I played as a kid in the early 90s.
I'll have to check when I get a chance but I think I know what's happening.
I'll see if it counts as a game breaking bug.
It should, hopefully! Let me know and I'll come back to play more!

Love it so far, couldn't finish, I solved the last puzzle but nothing happened
The bedroom one or the one after that?
the 3 carpets
Ah, there's actually a bit more after that.
