I love racing games. When you hit the ghosts the slow down felt really nice. I did hit a number of lag issues, and anytime I was in the air I usually ended up bouncing off a wall and ending up in the lava, but it was fun!

I love the music, gets me real pumped to drive over as many ghosts as I can.
The controls were nice the way the car controlled while grounded, felt fairly precise though difficult to slow down at all. Would like to see the camera positioned a little higher. Felt impossible to see the positions of the gaps in stages 3 and 7. Really did not want to ever be in air. Felt impossible to change my direction and the level geometry really didn't help. In fact most of my deaths came from the level randomly sending my car into the air or knocking me into pits
Lots of potential with this game, sadly for me I did have to stop playing due to my own annoyance with the later levels. May revisit this one in the future if it is ever updated.
yeah, i agree. the camera should be a little higher, or it can be dynamic. If you are in the air, the camera should point a bit down to show you where you will land. and when you are on the ground, it can be a bit higher, because the floor isn’t that interesting.
In my game, i made it so when the player moves, the camera gets a bit behind, it makes it so you cant see ahead far enough when at high speeds. and when you stop, the camera positions itself ahead of the player, so it is harder to see behind. this grounds the player so he cant move at high speeds at all times without risk.
I kept getting errors when running on Linux, and the main menu never loaded. Seems related to the FMOD extension. I hope they eventually support web exports.
Really great entry. Great music, stylish, funny too! I did clip through the terrain a couple times but it didn't cause any real headaches since the game loop is so quick and feels so good to play. Super fun!
This is sick. The uncontrollable speed has a fun push your luck quality. And the general tone is super fun.

Oh, man, this game... It made me so mad, but I couldn't stop playing. It drove me to the edge of insanity. Hahaha. Amazing game, loved the art. The levels... Maybe they could be a bit forgiving for the player since controlling the car is already hard. The first level with holes in the ground, I think there were way too many holes and barely any space to drive.
But overall, great game. :)

don’t all platformers have physics? you don’t have to specially mention it as “Car platformer with physics” because most car platformers do have physics
btw i added a feature in my game where you could change the physics midgame. like while moving at sonic speeds, make the friction super high to slow down.
I had a hell of a good time with this one! Honestly, not being able to control the car made it better. Bibley needs to be the final boss fort he ultimate lie!
This is like Crazy Taxi style driving with extra bouncy physics. The mechanic of “place a ramp” for a jump is I think the best way to put a jump button into racing games.
Hello.... just to let you know that RetroRabiul is my student. This is the second Game Jam he has participated in and I encouraged him to play as many games as possible to get some experience. I also told him to leave a comment as the game dev community should be supportive of one another. As he is still learning English, it is difficult for him to come up with something fresh and original each time. Hope that clears things up.

Very fun game, full of crazy stuff. Loved the intro narration, but the little banter from the book even more.
Superb game. Whimsy and fun and well thought out levels. A bit challenging at some points but with a lot more testing and polish, this could be a popular game. One thing that could be helpful to the player are save points and more consistent bounces off walls. Give this to Rocket League or Trackmania players and they'll have a blast. My only nitpick is the comment about anti-homophia. Funny to an extent but if you're gonna have that in there, make a few more comments in the same vein or play both sides so it doesn't feel like it comes out of nowhere. Nice use of SFX and music, too. Thanks for all the options in the menu. Awesome game and keep up the great work!
EDIT: Also, why does the game need access to my network? Windows says it tried to access it which I denied. Another update you could do is adding controller support.

Dang, hot stuff! I love all the details, the rankings, the trunk boost. Physics got weird sometimes after big jumps, one time I hit a wall and then just slowly levitated up but given the vibe, it kinda didn't matter and is just hilarious. The only things I'd add are gamepad support and something to make the track edge clearer in places, sometimes it was just a lot of red and I had to go through sections like my grandma. I guess my other complaint is my game feels like an afternoon nap compared to this :)

Absolute loved the game, all the meme stuff, the pumping soundtrack, the rally feeling, the speed animation, the turboboost and jump-ramps. Had a lot of laughs, absolut hilarious game
OMG you made soooo many levels in such a short amount of time.
I could not beat the "Rainbow Road of Hell" and gave up after probably 30th attempts.
Hard to beat that experience

Things to improve:
Game run very well but had a big shader compilation stutter from i guess the first crash-particle-animation, took 2-3s of lag. You could most probably get rid of that stutter, this will bring you 80% there:
If you had more time it would be nice to have a cooler looking UI/Menu etc. But all of that is nickpicking you put your time into the important (fun) part of the game

This is awesome! It’s super impressive for your first jam submission. Great work! My only criticism is that the narrow sections are a bit tedious. I had the best time when I was able to just speed through the level, crush enemies and fly around but that doesn’t work when there’s only such a small road.
