Nice game. Music and sound were good. Graphics were fitting. Needed some sort of intro or explanation at the start to get you going and maybe an introductory level. Otherwise a good entry

Enjoyed the game! Nice artwork and a fun game. Made it all the way through the game an it say something that I kept playing until I won.

Really nice game you've created! Downloaded the Windows version as suggested and I finished it. Nice feel to the character movement and jumping. Music and sounds were very fitting. Loved the idea of the costumes and the level design was good. I had no trouble working out what to do next or where to go.

The only negative I can say is that death came a little too suddenly and had no repercussions but that was a small thing for a jam game really.

Thanks for playing my game. I agree with everything you've said in the video.

Sorry about all the bugs, I knew about the problem with the parallax background but I couldn't fix it in time and I discovered the big bug at the end just after the Jam closed :( . I was trying to get my daughter to do some sound effects for the game too but it never quite happened in time.  In the end I just tried to do too much to get everything clean and polished for my first Jam.

PS. My daughter enjoyed it and wants me to make it easier and do more levels.

Awesome and ambitious game. You've accomplished a lot here. Nice music and SFX. Clean movement. Definitely worth putting some more effort into. You could do a lot from this as a starting point.

PS. Please rate my game too :)

Pretty straight forward asteroids clone. Nice touch with the letters and the fuel. Movement felt a bit stop start. Some momentum would have been good. Also maybe some lives to give you a better chance at surviving longer.

Enjoyed playing it :)

Good game! Enjoyed running round the map. The zoom for the maze was a nice touch. Really needs some music/sfx though. Nice moral choice with shooting or saving your friends.

Nice little game. Needs some refinement on the movement. Loved the sound! Fitted perfectly.

I did the same for my project. They can be tricky buggers in unity!

Enjoyed playing it. I played it for bit and it didn't seem to end. Did I miss the aim? I got lots of various things but couldn't figure out what I was supposed to be aiming at. The basic mechanic was good though and with a few levels and increasing difficulty it could be really good.

Nice game. Love the way you've interpreted the theme. It's fun to play but would benefit from a bit of signalling. Maybe flash when there's zombies near your other guy (drone or human). Also so info about how much ammo you've got and which bar is your health.

Overall a fun game though!

Thanks for the review. Glad you liked it. Did you get "There and back" ;) ?

Thanks for playing :)

I'll have a look for that bug in the "cutscene". It was a tricky bit to get right. Thanks for the tip about the rainbow power. I wanted to do some more dialog to signpost things (e.g. Firing rainbows and needing to kill the Color Vampires.) but I ran out of time. Hadn't thought about the issue with the projectiles. I did want to try and get more things drawing outside the color drain areas to make them stand out more (e.g. monsters and bullets), again beaten by the clock. Was my first Jam so got killed by scope creep :D

The boss fight bug was fixed 2 mins after submission unfortunately.

Nice game. Like the art and the music fits it well. Liked the use of the theme.  The main problem I had was that I fell off the bottom a few times and just kept falling. I had to quit back to menu to start again.

Nice puzzle game. Couldn't figure out how to deal with level 2 though without cheating the doors (i.e. position yourself so your legs springing back ends up with you the other side of the door). Loved the mechanic though. Very nice idea.

Nicely put together too. Good lead in through the levels and the sound and art style are nice too.

Wow, that was a tricky game. Love the mechanic bit and it would work really well on a mobile. I'd suggest dialling the difficulty down a little for the first level or two. Maybe try and use the initial levels to teach the player the basic tactics.

Other than that loved the music and sound are good and I like the look of it. Nice game

Lovely game! I really enjoyed playing it. Like the idea that you have to plan ahead to make sure you can get all the crumbs. It becomes really tricky once you can see how many crumbs there are. It just pushes you to get them all :)

Some awesome touches too. I chuckled when the first boot came down and squashed some of my ants. Loved the sticky lollypop too. The music really fitted the game well.

Nice tutorial and a well put together game!

Enjoyed this but it felt like it needed a clear goal. Liked the mechanic of trying to keep the soldiers supplied with everything they needed and I can see that if you added a "survive for X seconds" or "X enemy remaining" and then move to another level with different placement of people and equipment then it would move from good to awesome!

Oh and one tiny thing. Might want to make it more clear that the sandbags go to the walls and maybe have the ability to drop what your carrying. The icon doesn't match for the sandbags and my first game had me running round carrying a sandbag that I didn't know what to do with and couldn't get rid of until I died.

Interesting game. I think it's got promise as an idea but the movement is a little odd. It's hard to judge whether you're on a trap on not and it feels slower than it needs to be. Otherwise it was good :)

(1 edit)

Enjoyed it :) Took me a bit to realize that you needed to press  a button to pick up the villagers. Maybe just have them auto pickup instead. Also could do with something that shows what the "soul machine" is. I got all the villagers on my first attempt (even picking up the one's I'd missed because I didn't know how to pick up) but had no idea what the "soul machine" was so went back to the village. Otherwise loved it!

Fun game. Bullets felt a bit slow and the slimes didn't really try to get me which made them a bit easy. Had trouble with the gas vents. They took more than one health off me at once several times and seemed to have a large hit box. On the whole well done though!

Fun game. Like the way you've varied the walls to help you know where you are. Nice use of the theme too. Didn't get far but wasn't forced to go back as often as I expect. I could normally push on to the next fire. Nicely done :)

Hi, I tried to download your game. but it won't run. I think you've missed including some bit of the build.

Awesome! Thanks for the review :) Sadly it looks like the boss battle is bugged :( The boss is a bit easy when it works too. Just fixed it but can't upload until after the Jam. All you missed was the door opening on the house and the well done screen. Planned much more but we'll.. scope creep :) I'll check out your game tonight and leave some comments/rate. Thanks again!

Loved the game. Please rate mine too :)
