Yea, the more I look at it, I'm really not in love with the top left portion of the HUD. ah well!
And of course! If I had the brain to program the amount of physics and ocean wave simulation (and then the creativity to actually make it fun) I would love to make a surfing game. But at this time I do not have that brain :'-)

Internal memo ████████████ eyes only.
From bratwurst@smokebox.net 09.09.1999
The D&SD has been asked to cease development on ‘Dammed If I Do’, effective immediately.
Market research has determined ████████████████████████████████████████████.
All data from the alpha version must be ███████████. Dana St. Dane, the head of IT services, is in charge of that. Comply with her requests when she asks to look at your computers.
I wish it could say it’s been a pleasure, but it’s my last day, and frankly you’re all a bunch of pencil-necks.

Sgt. Bob Bratwurst

Progress report dated 01.25.1995. Internal memo ████████████ eyes only.
"Dammed If I Do" (DIID) is being developed by our Data and Surveillance Division - for the purpose of ████████ and to promote the restaurant. The development team has been given code names to protect against possible ████ and consists of the following.
- Subterranean Loser
- Moosemaid
- Ether Penguin
- Pixelcod
- YokaiBlotch
- LimeyOtoko
Premise
Our beloved mascot Franky has gotten sick from eating a cold chicken sandwich and needs 3 giant colonial pretzels to revive him. The player takes the role of Franky's cool-young family member to collect the pretzels on each level.
Current Development Status
The team so far has created a narrative premise for the game and some concept art for the settings and characters (sample included above). They have also programmed the physics, movement and some of the gameplay elements. Some of the levels have been started and some models and animations are implemented. The team has not implemented ████████ yet but assures us that it will be ████ before release.
yeah! I had a couple ideas to make that better. one was to have a first-person camera toggle so you can see more accurately where the ship is at. just didn't have time to implement
also I should have mentioned the clock at the top of the UI in the controls menu or something.
oh well!
thanks for the review!
obviously I would only want to do one or two of those things.
My art/ animation work can be found here: https://moshbitcartoons.com/ and a collection of some of my music is here: https://soundcloud.com/eraser-eraser (the more ambient soundtracky stuff is at the bottom of that page)
If you want to collab let me know!! Otherwise I’ll just make a bad gameboy game.
