Thanks for playing! :)

Thanks so much for playing and for featuring us in your video! <3

For the hard mode, it is a bit tricky, as there are chords where you have to play 2/3/4 notes at the same time for them to register! So if you just play one note it does not count. We will try to think of a way to explain this better to the player :)

We will also have a think of how best to indicate the level lengths. Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks for the suggestion, we will get that tag added, but will have to wait for the end of the jam as not sure what the rules are on editing the page while it's ongoing! ^^;

Thanks for playing! :)

Thanks!

Thanks for playing and for featuring it in your video! I'm happy you enjoyed it :)

We plan to release a full version, with more levels and some changes to the gameplay in the future!

Thanks so much for playing & for your feedback! I'm glad you had fun!

Thanks for playing! I'm happy you enjoyed it! We're planning on changing the star system for a different one in the future which will hopefully be more clear 🤞

Thanks for playing!

Hey :) What browser/device are you using? It currently only works on Chrome, Firefox & Edge.

Thanks for playing and for your feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I'm happy you had fun interacting with the environments, we will try and add more stuff to the later levels too, so they are a bit more fleshed out!

The star rating is based on getting the mininum number of clicks to complete the level at the moment, but I think it would be better in the future if we got rid of the stars and instead have multiple solutions, like you mentioned, and then show how many you have completed overall at the end of each replay. I think that might be more fun for replayabilty of the levels!

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Hi, thanks for playing! Sorry you can't annoy them, but thats a cool idea! Will maybe look at adding that in the future! :)

Thanks so much for playing, and for including us in your video! :) It's really fun to see people trying out our game in realtime!

We have updated our page to accept donations on download if you would still like to donate <3

Thanks for playing! We've made a walkthrough here: https://octobass.itch.io/dont-bug-me/devlog/323952/walkthrough-dont-bug-me

(coffee level is level 8 on it :D )

(1 edit)

Hi, we've made one here :) https://octobass.itch.io/dont-bug-me/devlog/323952/walkthrough-dont-bug-me

Thanks for telling us about this bug! We will look at fixing after this month once the Github Game Off Jam is complete!

We currently have an issue where it is impossible to get 3 stars on the last level :( We will fix after github game jam is complete!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! :)

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! :)

Thanks for playing!

Will definitely try and make the deadly areas more obvious in the future, and fix the hitboxes so they aren't so mean :D

Thanks for playing it all the way through! And thanks for the feedback too :)

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Thanks for playing, and for the feedback :)

Will try to add more indicators in future games - especially for the timing puzzles!

More interaction between characters would be cool, we could use it to build more personality to each character :D

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! :)

I really like the art and the UI (especially the colour scheme!)

The gameplay was fun too, I like when interactive stories use emails and phone calls to tell the story!

Was a little short but I enjoyed playing what there was of it :)

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! Multiplayer would be super cool to add!

Thanks for playing! :)

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! Will definitely try and make the platforms and things that can injure the player more obvious next time!

Super fun game! Really enjoyed the controls and the boss fight orientated nature of it :D

Would have been nice if the game autosaved before travelling through the door to the final boss, but not a big deal. A slam ability (possibly on a cooldown) might have been quite nice too to quickly get back to the ground and ready to run :)

Really good overall! :D

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! :)

Really fun game (with a cute main character)! Enjoyed acquiring new abilities as the game progressed (really liked the final ability you get :D)

Would have been nice to have a few more checkpoints, I found every now and then I'd die and be sent back quite a way :)

Really good overall!

Great artwork and audio! Really liked how you acquired more abilities as you progressed through the game :D

The intro felt a little long, but overall was very fun!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Will definitely try to make it more obvious where the dangerous areas are next time!

Really polished fun puzzle game! Kinda gave me portal vibes :D

Thanks and thanks for playing!

Fun, cute game! I liked the abstract-y platform world :)

Really fun and polished puzzle game!

It would be good if there was a way to grab the blocks, often I would end up chasing the blocks across the level when I hit them wrong :D I also got stuck in some unwinnable states and had to restart, so maybe an undo or a way out of them would be useful.

Unique concept and pretty art :)
Couldn't complete unfortunately due to not being able to pick up the pickaxe, but overall a relaxing, fun game!

I really like your theme interpretation! Art is really nice too :) The gameplay felt a little slow, maybe could have a way to skip the bit when you are caught to speed it up?
