Fun, cute game! I liked the abstract-y platform world :)

I really liked the chill vibes when the game became a platformer - the music, the background,  it was really nice.
It took me some time to figure out that u need to jump inside the thought bubbles of people.

Nice game overall :)

Nice mash-up of adventure and puzzle/platformer, the music is nice and fits well with the graphics and the mechanics. Can't help remembering Razputin from Psychonauts when entering the thoughts of others, hehe. Good job

never played it, but i guess i can't be the first person to think of this idea!

Neat story! Short but very enjoyable and engaging. Lovely pixel art, great dialogue system and really cool way to jump into the platform challenges.

Awesome job!

Lovely art style, and I enjoy the whole "jumping into thought bubbles" concept a lot, they're fun little challenges. The characters are appealing and it's cool that different actions can end up changing what results.

The level with the girl dancing outside Gooby's was so hard, but so satisfying to beat.  The graphics and music put in me in mind of Toe Jam & Earl for Sega Genesis, which I loved.  Well done!

That was a... curious entry, but not without charm, I have to admit!

Good job :)

Very nice story and graphics! The music and sound effects were a nice match :-)

Really sweet story. The trippy background for the platforming parts is cool. Atmospheric in a cozy way, I enjoyed it!

I really liked the sprites, the way the dude’s hair moved was pretty cool! It was really nice to see some characters with personality, and using the platforming sections to change people’s mind was really cool! The multiple endings offers some nice replayability

Well I made it to the show.  Not bad.

If you like platformers, please try our game.

I really liked the jumping into thoughts concept and the story and gameplay was interesting. As other commenters have said, I think the theme interpretation was lacking, but the presentation and execution were really well done.

What it lacks in theme interpretation, it makes up for in personality. Fun to play, made me replay just to not miss out on other funny encounters and funny bit of dialogue. Enticing storytelling seeps out of a bunch of pixels

Fun game to play! I found two different endings, and the little micro-levels are enjoyable.

Enjoyed the game, but wish it had more to do with the theme. Awesome art and sound! Gave me Scott Pilgrim game vibes.

Dripping with character and personality! I absolutely love how you took a simple platforming concept and turned it into such a charming game. A lot of the characters are instantly memorable and when the game ended I wished there was more. The world felt like a really interesting place and I wanted to explore more of it. I'll be playing again to try for the other endings.

The artwork and music are superb. The characters all have very distinct looks and the environments are very well done. Extremely high quality and well polished for a jam game! The platforming felt a little difficult at first but once I understood it, it was really fun and interesting. The dash mechanic added a surprising amount of depth and complexity and I loved it! The platforming sections themselves were well designed too.

The little narratives and story arcs made a world of difference to the overall feel of the game. The more I played the invested I felt in my little guy. Really amazing work!

Wow that was really cool, nice concept mixing platformer and story based components. Art was great,  story was interesting!

I personally like games where there's some sort of abstract/surreal thing going on.
And you, my friend, have made something unique in that regard.
One of the few games that kept me engaged till the end!
The atmosphere was superb and really caught the "night-life" feel of a city.
I will come back and see if I can find the other endings.

Developer

thanks :)

This game caught me off guard. At first it wasn't doing much for me, but then I jumped into the first person's.... mind(?) and the style really just clicked. Can't say I totally understand WHY or WHAT I was doing in each of them, but it is a really cool mixup of gameplay and story. Audio and everything melded together very well here. The story is short, but it's cool to see the full thing play out. It has a sort of A Short Hike kind of atmosphere going. Really cool entry.
