Cute and super cozy game, had a lot of fun diving into these people's lives. The little stories and how you solve them is a lot of fun. I like the soft choices throughout the game, not too impactful but impactful enough. I hit the end of game bug and got past it with the book. I found all the numbers for grandma's safe but had to check your source code for what to do with them, I had tried entering them etc. Also the inside was a little confusing tho I think it ties into to what the mask man tells me if I accuse him. The artwork is fantastic, really professional, clean and consistent. I am not totally sure what I was supposed to do with the book prices. Also if you reload a failed day it resets all the books as if you hadn't hit the supplier which lead to me hitting a few misses. The music was nice and all the sound gave it a clean cozy vibe. The humor around the characters was a lot of fun and reminded me a lot of the good and bad of retail. Overall a really nice game. Surprisingly long, intricate and detailed for a month long game.

Good job loved the art

This was one of the best games in the jam I've played so far! The art, the dialogue, the seeeecrets! Everything just worked so well and fit so great together! You guys did such a great job of building up the suspense over a long period of time, and the music especially played a big role in that. I love how each character had their own little music theme. And this thing is also jam-packed (haha) with content, so much so that I couldn't believe this was made in only a month! Each character was unique, in terms of dialogue, story, and design, All in all, this was one of my favorite games to play in the jam, and I hope you expand it into a complete game in the future!

Beautiful video game but I don't have the level of English to understand everything!

Really nice game! Getting to know each client was super interesting (the guy that loves knitting is my favorite character🤣🤣) and managing the book shop was fun!
The game was a bit too slow-paced at first, but I understand that it's because this should feel like a cozy game. In certain situations I didn't know exactly where to click or what to do, but overall I enjoyed playing it! The interactions were really well written, great sense of humor!

Thanks for the kinds words and feedback :)

We're thinking we might make a couple of updates to the game post-jam, part of which might involve optionally putting a bit more emphasis on the shop management side of things. Hopefully that would help keep it more engaging in the beginning while it gets going :D Yeah, I think there are definitely some improvements we can make from a 'tutorial' perspective to help guide the player (especially in the beginning). That's something else that we might look into adding :)

I'm glad you enjoyed the interactions, none of us are novelists so it was a bit daunting going for a game so heavy on dialogue XD

Thanks for playing!

This game looks beautiful and quite long. I like how the music changing on certain sections. A good relaxing game.

However, I do wish the dialog text to have more than 1 color or decorate the text to help the reader to quickly locate the important parts. And sometimes I could miss the clue or the hint and the npc wouldn't repeat it and I had to restart the day.

The game may be a little boring to me, this is good enough.

I like your idea around text decoration to highlight important aspects in the dialogue. We plan to tighten  up a couple of things post-jam, so maybe we'll have time to look into that! :D We were hoping to have the shop management system play a more important part, but due to time we ended up having to pull back on that a bit. That might be something else we look more into post-jam, and would maybe help keep the player more engaged.

Thanks for playing!

This is like a whole game, I love it! So adorable, very cozy -- other than, you know, the murder, secrets, and bankruptcy haha! Will be bookmarking to play through again and try for other endings and stamps.

Thanks for the kind words!

We were pretty pushed to get everything finished in time, ended up being a lot more to do than we initially thought XD

Thanks for playing!

The art style is cute and the whole system feels polished ! Love the tint of mysteries in the stories and it feels cozy to interact with the npc. The background and the mechanics gibe well with the theme secret. I also like how the script changes based on player's previous decision, enjoy the gameplay!
