Simple but nice graphics, and has a really satisfying gameplay loop. I like making the player choose between more health, score or time. Also like how you have to attack the storm to go back to the calm stage, rather then including a timeout as well, as I was trying to cheese it by standing on the far left outside of its movement path, but yeah that didn't work :) Anyway, great work!

Thanks for the lengthy comment mate, do appreciate it. And yeah I get your point, looking back on it I should have spent less time messing around with terrain, and flying rocks, and more on game design. At the end its the ash cloud that is hurting you, but I didn't have time to fix the particle system to make it clear when you're inside it. Also, a last minute change the maximum camera angle makes it difficult to see the ash cloud chasing you down the volcano, as you cant look up at it. Lots of things like that could definitely be improved.
Had a blast doing the game jam, and despite a few late nights and the accidental deletion of my terrain data last minute, I am pleased with the result. Please rate my game and I will rate yours back! Cheers!
Despite simple graphics it does feel polished with a good UI, nice music and a satisfying gameplay loop. I like the premise, fits well into the theme. Although could have some more things for the player to do whilst the event is taking place. Also I got to $43M and nothing happened, is the game supposed to end at some point? Anyway, good job!
