Glad you liked it. We’re aware that in some cases the player can fall off the map and there is no way to continue. Unfortunately we did not have time to implement a solution to completely prevent this before the deadline, but it is one of the improvements that will be done post-jam. Luckily it seems that most people do not run into this issue.

Thanks for playing!

To move these walls you need to click on a different wall.

Thanks so much for the kind words. Glad you enjoyed it! That is a great suggestion for a simple solution to the occasional camera awkwardness 👍

Classic escape room game. I think the puzzles could have been a bit more challenging, but they were still clever, and the art style worked well. Having layered music is a nice touch to signal progression to the player. Overall strong entry especially for doing it solo!

Nice work! The art is super charming and every objective was clear while still having a little bit of puzzle elements.

Very clever little game! Nice use of the limited color palette and keeping things simple. The hints were very welcome, so thanks for adding those (finding the last ending took me a while but the hint helped). My only critiques would be a) sometimes trying to platform onto single blocks can feel bad due to the low-friction feeling when trying to reverse directions (especially in the cave), and b) while it was really neat to have the music vary between the different states/areas of the game, it could be nice to play around with some melodic variations as well so the main melody doesn't become stale. Overall super solid entry. Excellent work!

Thanks for the feedback. Sadly we weren't able to figure out a really solid way to smoothly transition between free-camera and guided cameras within the time limit, but that is something we are aware of and definitely want to try to improve post-jam. Glad you enjoyed the game!

Thank you so much for the kind words. Glad you enjoyed the game!

Thank you for the suggestion. We will be making a few improvements post-jam that we ran out of time to implement. Glad you enjoyed it!

I had fun. Nice use of minimalistic art to get the job done. There was a minor issue that the ui to start the game didn't work after going through the tutorial, but reloading the page and skipping the tutorial got past that. I wish there were more interesting audio, but overall this was a little great deck-builder/tug-of-war game. Nice work!

Wow, so good. Simple but effective! Great facial expressions on the Zilla :D

Yeah we overscoped on the level and ran out of time and had to rush it to make it resemble something "complete". You have given me hope by confirming that its actually possible to get to the exit door XD. Glad you got some enjoyment out of it still. Thanks for the feedback!

Absolutely awesome. Top notch level design and a good way to fit the theme of the jam! Art and music are excellent as well. I really enjoyed the little pentatonic/blues scale notes while shooting the first gun. Would be really cool to expand that to the other weapons -- maybe have each one be a different instrument from the band. Nice work!

Amazing job making something fun and unique with a limited scope! Very nice polish and creativity. Excellent work :)

Excellent work. This was a fun short experience with a nice take on the theme! Nice disgusting gore sounds as well ;)

Thanks for the suggestion :) We will try to implement more narrative in a post-jam update.

Thanks so much for playing. Yeah we overscoped and couldn't finish the level in time. Will resolve these problems after the jam voting phase closes. Glad you were still able to get some enjoyment out of it!

Glad you enjoyed it! :) We will be putting out at least one update after the jam voting phase finishes in order to get the game closer to the original intention before we had to cut corners for time.
Thanks so much for the detailed review!

UPDATE
- Fixed an issue which would cause audio to often fail on load in WebGL build.
- Removed "Exit" button from main menu in WebGL build

Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it! We ran out of time to really polish it up and had to cut features and content in order to make sure it would be (mostly) stable, but after the jam we’ll have some updates to get in all or most of what we originally had intended. Thanks for the great suggestions :)

    Thank you! :)

Neat mechanic. Simple, intuitive and addictive gameplay. I liked that while the spawning of the level objects seemed random, I never felt like it was impossible to progress. Very nicely done!

    Thank you! :)

Thank you! Yes, there was an ending screen with credits roll that is supposed to load when you win. Sadly it wasn't discovered that this was broken until after we submitted and the deadline was passed. But we'll fix it after the voting phase has completed, along with several other bugs and things that had to be culled to meet the deadline. Glad you enjoyed it! :)

Wow awesome artwork and music! And a creative interpretation of the theme! It's great that the game is is simple to understand as well. I did run into a bug the first time I launched it where I was unable to move the character, but reloading the page fixed it. Awesome work!

Wow what a cool vibe! The fish boids are really impressive, and the framing from inside a mask is really creative. I noticed some LOD or visual culling popping, but not a big deal. I do wish there was some greater incentive for collecting the various things, but overall this is a nice experience! Very nicely done.  I like the fact about Froot Loops ;D

Thanks! Yeah sadly I had created and prepared many more sounds but I ran out of time to implement most of them. Had to pick up more programming and other tasks than usual for this one. After the voting phase is over I will add the rest of the sounds and we’ll fix up the bugs that made it into the submission. Glad you enjoyed it! :)

Really nice visuals and and interesting take on the theme :) I gave up on level two after failing several times. It's a little unclear when you can and can't jump wires and whether or not that decrements your health.

Very fun and polished game! Great job! Nice work being more more creative with the theme interpretation. I do wish it was maybe a bit more challenging, but excellent work overall!

Glad you enjoyed it! Sadly the ending was done very hastily in the last couple hours of the jam so that bug managed to make it in :( It will be fixed post jam though.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the game :)

Glad you liked it! We have started talks about either extending the existing game or making a sequel :)

Uploaded new WebGL, Mac and Windows builds - v. 1.2.0
    - Fixed a bug that allowed players to leave the play area and walk on the lake.
    - Added wood footstep sounds to dock.
    - Typo fixes.

Excellent. Glad you liked it! :)
