I just kept spamming the throw potion button to find where the potions went "through" the mesh and then jumped through.

Top down games do exist with mouse clicks as movement, but with the rest of the control scheme, it just didn't feel natural at all. I kept accidentally clicking towards the enemies instead of using spells, and trying to select the magic just kept confusing me which finger to use and which button to press. I just ended up spamming the fire twice and still managed to die after only killing a few monsters.

That prison guy shanked me beyond belief. I tried healing, but everything I healed, he just dealt right back.

Reminds me of Lemonade Stand on CoolMathGames.com from way back when. Only this game has a lot more items so it's harder to have everything on hand. This game relies heavily on luck then skill. Maybe reduce the number of items so it's easier for the player to have the correct items on hand.

No exit or pause screen present. Very hard to keep up with. Trying to type and the potions get thrown. Kept throwing me off. Almost made it to the end!

Great game! Gonna save the lead levels for later. Stone levels were slightly hard so I had to skip some of the coins, lol. Love the idea.

I love the menus and the level design. Once again, you live up to your reputation. Only complaint I have is I couldn't win (it wasn't clear what I was supposed to do) and the elevators, I was pressing random buttons, lol.

Love the idea!

I didn't understand anything about this game. I kept trying different combinations of things, but never ever happened. A game with this level of difficulty should have more explanation.

Also, GOAT!!

The one complaint that I have is that the controls are not intuitive. I kept trying to use the arrow keys to move, but that was not the case. My hands were not comfortable with this control scheme. Also, could not figure out how to upgrade the spells.

I played for like 10-15 mins and didn't find anything. I kept spamming the interact button but only found a few notes scattered around. Perhaps the level was too big or the notes were too sparse?

Great start!

Great start, wish there was more. Were the invisible borders intentional or just a bug?

Interesting concept, took me a couple tries to figure out the objective. I wish the town was closer, but I loved the design of the village. The UI could have used some polish, but otherwise, great job!

One thing I would really like is an option to back out during the ingredient screen to change target. I barely made it through Elvis. I wish the coding part had more interesting methods instead of just loop or return. I like the concept but it leaves me wanting more.

Great effort!

Fun music, easy early progression and then get's incredibly fast. One suggestion would be to add colors. As they fall, could maybe give them a random color choice from the three of Kwanzaa, Black, Red and Green.

I could only figure out one puzzle. I tried to see if I could jump between the two platforms, but the jump height was not enough, and there was not enough cubes that I could reach to solve any of the larger puzzles.

Unable to see Mouse Cursor on Menus, and when I did get the level to load (using the character Instance) all I saw was a field of cloud(s)? Unsure of gameplay mechanics.

Unable to run. Binaries\Win64\AlumGameJam.exe CreateProcess() returned 2 is the error.

Where's the link to your YouTube channel? Couldn't find the link on that video.

Thanks for the feedback. We appreciate it!

Bugs should be fixed by now. Let me know if there are any other issues.

Attempting to replicate issue was confirmed, we will be working to resolve the issue. In the meantime, we do have a previous build linked up with Google Drive (link should be above) that should allow you to play the game.

Will look into issue and see if we can replicate the issue.

Overall, a very fun experience. Couple issues with spelling mistakes and the double play menu (Hit the first play button, which takes you to another screen to hit Play again). You still had the line trace still on (not sure if it was on purpose resembling Superhot VR), so I didn't dock you for that. Biggest problem was I had to look in the controls menu to figure out the basic controls, and the map was massive with little content, took me a while to find anyone. The trees also had some weird collision with the bullets too.

Great Job!

At one point I had gotten infinite warmth, until I passed through another fire, which reset the decay. Also I managed to finish the game with less than the full amount of gifts. Overall, very promising, wish the level and mannequins had textures.

Sorry about the experience, we ran out of time to fully test out the game and add internal descriptions of what the game entails. There is, however, a possibility to update the game since the game jam this was created for is now over, and then we could port this game over to steam, if we feel that the game is better represented.
