We really appreciate the video! It really motivates us to work more on the project and bring forward more and more of the game we envision!

Thank you so much for the gameplay, really appreciate the support!

Thank you so much for including us here, it means a lot to us! The feedback is very much appreciated and it motivates us to keep working on the project to give everyone a more finished game. Cheers!

i like so much me when asteroid hit me: bahahaa

I don't know if the itch.io app compiles things differently, but they should break if they are bombed... that's what we intended them to be. Perhaps you misunderstood the bomb mechanic, Left click places down a circle with a timer, when the timer runs out the player has to be within the circle so that the bomb explodes, that might be the issue, I think we didn't explain it that well...

Thank you for the positive feedback! Is the reason you are dying in the second room a lack of hp, or some sort of bug. If it's the first one, you could have tried breaking some barrels or vases, they sometimes give hp, if it is the latter one, we would really love to know, since we would really like to polish this game and add more content to it.

What can I say, it's Dani, it has ragdolls, what more can you expect except satisfying gameplay? Very big Milk energy

The arrows going through the walls are an intended mechanic, since they are elusive (we are just stupid lol), thank you very much for the feedback!

It's a shame you didn't have time to implement all the skills you wanted to, the game was fantastic even without it, but it would have given the player something more to do other than achieve a highscore.

You really did a good job with the mood! Really immersed me into the game, felt like I was playing a thought out indie game that wasn't made in one week. It was truly an experience, one of the best games in terms of originality and mood. I'm looking forward to seeing you make more of this!

Why aren't there more people rating this? It's amazing, I dunno about the originality, but you sure made it captivating!

Innovative perspective on the theme, loved the simplistic aspect of the game, really fits the puzzle genre forward and gave it that feel. Good Job! Can't wait for the story mode!

Very cool mechanic, loved the design of the enemy ,reminded me of the reddit icon xd

Thank you for the feedback! Speaking of league of legends, the player's main mechanic was inspired by Ekko lmao.

I was planning on leaving the character facing the last direction he went, but I took way too much time trying to implement omnidirectional shooting (which I gave up on), and I couldn't come up with a quick solution to make the player remain in the same direction as he was going. My knowledge with programming is rather limited at the moment, since most of the times I would do the graphics when it comes to working in a team, and because I decided to join this jam on my own I didn't really have the time to stagnate on one problem, so I had to find a way around it. I do appreciate and agree with your criticism, and I am fully aware of the game's flaws, thank you so much for taking your time to at least try my game!

I really love the aesthetic of it! Gameplay wise, the mechanic is rather simple but it is well executed and it works really well for the theme. Difficulty could have been higher, but with the given time, I would say you have done an amazing job!

Thank you very much for the praise, but the sounds and the song are not owned by me, they were merely edited by me. I seem to get a lot of criticism for the shooting mechanic though (LOL), I didn't expect it to be that difficult to get used to the somewhat inconvenient controls.

I was thinking of going for a timer when doing the restrictions to the player's controls, but the game's outcome would be very dependent on RNG, it's true that it would fit the theme better, but from a gameplay perspective it is fairer for the player to have some kind of control over the matter.

Thank you for the compliments. The inconvenient way of shooting adds to the chaotic environment created within the game, it encourages the player to move constantly, and to create a sense of urgency when a certain movement option is restricted.

Thanks

Well the "shooting in the same direction as you are moving" mechanic turned out to be rather annoying at times from a gameplay perspective, but from a game design point of view, I felt like it fit the game a lot better, since it encouraged the player to move at all times, and to not ignore the random restrictions put on the movement.

That's such a shame! It was really entertaining though!

This is so chaotic, holy crap! If there were a game that would define the theme the best, it would be this game, the situation gets out of control in the blink of an eye. The game was so hard! Nice game, I love your videos by the way!

Very nice idea with the seemingly never ending array of people that forms as you play. I wanted to see what would happen in the end. But nothing happened, I explored the entire map. Did I miss something? Very cool concept overall though!

I really loved the them interpretation, I was going for the same thing(LOL). The game was really fun, it got kind of repetitive, I ended up playing the same game mode for 5 times in a row. Very nice, I loved the character design and how it moved! Good job!

The dialogue at the beginning of the game explains how the game works (It is not a story). If you don't want to read it I'll sum it up for you :

  • The container in the center has to be reset before its timer runs out
  • You can't let more than 3 tentacles to be present on the screen at any time
  • Whenever the sides of the screen become purple, you have to spam the Q button in order to use a medicine and remove the debuffs
  • You can replenish your ammo in the bottom right corner, and the medicines in the bottom left corner
  • E - Interact ; M1 - Shoot;  Q (Spam) - Medicine; W,A,S,D - Move

I hope this sums it up pretty well, thank you for at least trying my game!

Is the WebGL not loading, or is it some other problem?

Amazing game, really satisfying!
