Thank you for trying our game, chridd! Yes, overall the intuitiveness, as well as the controls and physics, aren't very solid, so I understand that the game feels a bit janky ahahah, even the wall climbing mechanic is a bit confusing and hard to execute at times. As for the lights, we only noticed in the WebGL build that the lights were going through other levels, but maybe the intensity was a bit high too.

The main mechanic was initially supposed to just allow the character to grow by interacting with a small box, and vice versa, but due to some physics issues and lack of time, we had to abandon that idea, and simplify the process :(

But thank you very much for your comment and for pointing out these various issues. It’s always important to learn from these mistakes to improve :)

Woah how are people so creative? Ahaahah I loved the childlike style of the game with the voices and sounds, really good and fun :)

Ahh, I love those mysterious, simple games that make you want to play and explore. The game is very intuitive and really good :) I enjoyed it a lot.

Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed the game :)

Thank you, VladNove. Yes, the controls and the overall first user experience should have been better developed, but it's through these mistakes that we learn :)

Thank you for playing :) Actually, that's something I haven't heard until now, and I'm not sure how it could be fixed. When I was playing a different game, I had to resize my browser window to play and see the full scene, but I'm not sure if that's the problem you're also experiencing :(

Thank so much MarcoP :)

Thank you very much for your comment Kyuoo :)

Thank you for trying our game :) Yes, the controls and even the physics sometimes don't work the way we wanted, but we now understand the importance of a game being intuitive and clearly explaining the mechanics during gameplay.

Thanks :) Yeah, you're right, the game isn't very intuitive, and even the UI doesn't clearly show what the player needs to do. We'll definitely need to focus more on that in our future games!

Thank you for your comment. Yes, the controls are indeed one of the weaker points. I would even say the game is not very intuitive and can be quite confusing for many people. But that's how you learn :)

very clean game :) Congrats!!

Sound design of the year ahaha! But yeah it's a very hard game :(

Love the cover image ahahah

I found the game really beautiful and relaxing in a way, ahahaha. The visuals and music are very beautiful indeed! :)

The only thing I can mention is that there's no tutorial at the beginning of the game (we didn't have one either in our game, and we already saw how much it helps ahaha).

This was like a journey, really beautiful. The music, the art... everything was very beautiful. I really liked the messages in the end :)

I love this style of game ahaha . Well done for this game, very solid game :)

Love the chaos and all the stuff happening mixed with the music. Very cool game ahahha :)

It's a cool game :) I just think that when the monster is big, it shouldn't die with one shot.

I liked the game. I'm not sure if it was intentional or my problem wiht the sound, but would be better if it had sounds and music to go along with it. But look, considering it was made in 48 hours, I understand ahahah

Very cute game. I really liked the art and the overall aesthetic :)

Ahaha to play I had to resize the window on the game page, so I think you've already integrated the theme in your submission hahaha. But for a first project, I really liked it—very simple and with a fun idea. It would be better with sound, but still ...a good job and good game : )

I liked the atmosphere and how it feels like you're walking towards an endless place, but then you actually get there hahaha. Good game Empty :)

This game has some of the most unique mechanics I've seen so far. The art is really cool and fits the game well. So yeah, it's a pretty good game :)

Nice game :) I really liked the colors and the illustrations!

I liked the change in lighting when the time changes, it was visually interesting. I took a bit of time to understand the controls and figure out what to do, and it’s also a shame there’s only one round :( But yeah good game :)

Ohh different from other games, I’d say haha. I really enjoyed playing it :) One thing is that if you keep spamming the same note multiple times, it always gives you the same score even after disappearing haha.

Cute game. It took me a while to understand the controls, so they might not be very intuitive. Unfortunately, in level 3 I think, I kept falling, so there might not be a collider there. But anyway, it’s a nice little game :)

Thank you for the comment. Yes, we know that the box often becomes deselected, and the SPACE to jump sometimes activates the scaling button unintentionally :( Unfortunately, we couldn’t fix this in time, but thanks you for the feedback, it's always important :)

Thank you so much for your comment :) Maybe the game should have had a small introduction to help players understand a bit better ahahaha. Our original idea was for players to figure out the controls on their own and feel a bit alone in the unfamiliar environment :)

Yesss that was the idea we wanted to follow! A tutorial would have been important from the start, as our idea of having the player discover things on their own didn’t work out very well ahahah. We’ve now made a video to try to make up for it and help those who are still having difficulties understanding the game mechanics. Thank you so much for your comment :)

Thank you croissant :)))

Thanks for the comment. Yeah, you're right. Our idea of having the player discover the controls on their own didn’t work very well, and combined with a lack of time, we couldn’t implement it properly. Now, since many said they felt lost with the controls, we made a video explaining them to try to help a bit ahahah :)

Thank you so much for your comment :))))

Ohh sorry about that :( We know that many have been struggling with the controls and mechanics, so to help with this, we’ve made a video explaining. :) Even so, sometimes things don’t work very well in the game ahahah, especially at the corners of the boxes :(

(1 edit)

Thank you so much SpiltMilk :)

Thank you for your comment, Nano! Yeah initially it was meant for the player to discover the controls on their own, and also mixed with a lack of time ahaha and then It didn't turn out the way we wanted. We’ve now made a tutorial video explaining the controls and mechanics of the game, since it’s an issue many have pointed out :) thank you

Great game! Cool idea, and the levels are very well thought out, especially the way you integrated the tutorial at the beginning of the game :)

The game seems good, but I think I'm terrible at playing... but when I passed that hill...then I died to a cactus, haha but yeah well done! :)

Great title game ahahah loved the explosion of the snake! :)
