How does your game fit the theme?
The game scales in intensity through its ever increasing arena and difficult combat. Furthermore, many of the mechanics like player stats scale multiplicatively. Assets also reference scale, through artwork representations and musical scales.

It becomes very hard quite quickly and when we have to choose our improvement the time is slowed down but not stopped. I don't know if this is intentional but it's quite annoying :/
But otherwise a really good game, fun to play and very pretty, good job ! ;)

Nice idea! I enjoyed seeing more and more stuff, but got overwhelmed pretty quickly at some point haha. Still a fun game, congratulation for making this :D

It's a fun take on the survivors genre and I like how the camera pans out as the dificulty increases. The sprites are good but they're not visually consistent together.

I love the atmosphere this unique pixel style looking combined with the music. It's fun, but is a little bit too hard for me. Also, I think my game share similar idea with yours, feels free to check it out! GOOD WORK!

Love the art, love the slowly zooming out camera and the ominous music. You're right that our games are conceptually similar, I love the art on the cards. I like how we each solved having additional abilities in a simple way differently (you had a special control, we went with just a number of attacks). It's fun! Just a bit slow paced at the beginning but it increases pretty quick.

This game has really good presentation! It's beautiful, and the camera slowly pulling back is both stylish and useful for readability as more monsters spawn.

I don't mind the game not stopping during level ups, but the slowmo should be stronger to compensate.

The game is way too hard for me, so I didn't get very far, but from what I saw, I really like the varied monster types forcing you to move differently.

There's a lot of potential here, though it's still quite rough around the edges. I really like where the art is going, and the pre-historic cave-man theme with dinosaurs is a setting we don't see often enough. I think the enemy design is great, the fact that they all attack you in very differently but predictably makes the gameplay feel chaotic in a good way.

I enjoyed this, it's really cool and the mechanics all feel very polished. I think it's really annoying though that time doesn't stop completely when choosing a power up. I also really like the art style and the soothing music.

The Cover Art is amazing, and also all the cards look so good! I whish the background would be less saturated , since it is such a bright color it is hard to focus on the enemies in my opinion!

I liked the attack of the bird ones even though it was quite a challnage, but the movement pattern with them first flying away and than speeding up to you is really fun!

Biggest Issue I had was when I was leveling I always died , since the game did not pause :)

Thank you! Our artists are so happy to hear you liked their work! Originally we wanted to make more tile sprites to break up the background, but unfortunately ran out of time. We will also def edit the game to pause during level up when the jam is over!

YESSS the pterodactyl is also my favorite enemy :)
