Great game! ♥ I had some minor issues with climbing, sometimes it doesn't work smoothly, but overall I like the mechanics. The artstyle and animations are very good, the game seems alive. I really like it! ♥

How does your game fit the theme?
It features a dynamic where players can change the size of objects. The key mechanic allows players to alter the scale of the character, but as a consequence, the selected object scales in the opposite direction. By using this scale-shifting mechanic, players can solve puzzles and progress through different levels.

I really like the eerie atmosphere, and the way the boxes are linked with size is quite unique! The fact that the character’s posture doesn’t change while climbing adds to the creepiness.
I don't think I'll be able to finish this before the end of the voting period (I got stuck on a screen last time I played, and also I should get some sleep soon), but here are some thoughts so far:
• I like the artstyle
• One of the rooms had a full-screen flicker which I didn't like as much (also for some people might cause seizures?)
• Physics seem janky (like I get caught on random things)
• Every time I click a button I have to then click outside the buttons, otherwise the game interprets space bar as both pressing a button and jumping.
• Main mechanic seems interesting (like you're taking size from the blocks... except it seems you can enlarge yourself from a block that's already at minimum size)
Thank you for trying our game, chridd! Yes, overall the intuitiveness, as well as the controls and physics, aren't very solid, so I understand that the game feels a bit janky ahahah, even the wall climbing mechanic is a bit confusing and hard to execute at times. As for the lights, we only noticed in the WebGL build that the lights were going through other levels, but maybe the intensity was a bit high too.
The main mechanic was initially supposed to just allow the character to grow by interacting with a small box, and vice versa, but due to some physics issues and lack of time, we had to abandon that idea, and simplify the process :(
But thank you very much for your comment and for pointing out these various issues. It’s always important to learn from these mistakes to improve :)
I love an atmosphere and art style! i also like player and block size manipulation mechanic too!
Beautiful atmosphere, thanks for the game! The full screen UI is bigger than my screen and I don
't really know how to fix that
Great art and atmosphere! I struggled a bit with the controls and mechanics though. I did make it through a couple of rooms but got the cube stuck somewhere I couldn't get it out from.
The artstyle is very neat! I bet that with even more time you could have been deeper in it! The game may suffer from some UX problems that makes the main mechanic a bit difficult to understand at first , but once it's understood, it's fun to play! :)
I loved the visual style, it fits the mood just perfectly. I see that you guys already received a lot of feedback on controls, so I'll skip mine. Overall this game has a great vibe to it, would love to see it developed into a fully fledged horror story.
cool game but strange controls. Wall interaction is strange, player just gets stuck.
Oh that was very good game that fitted the theme very well! There a lot of games, but so far I didn't see anyone doing the balancing of sizes of two things, most of the time you just increase and decrease sizes and that's the end of it and here you have to "exchange" the difference of sizes. I like the artstyle a lot and overall the atmosphere reminds me of game "Limbo". The puzzles were also neither too hard or too easy, which is nice. My only feedback would be to somehow highlight passages to another levels/rooms and I suspect that it might have been done on purpose to make it more challenging for player (like in this room with T obstacle, I think?), but some people might get confused and think that they got stuck or something is bugged, because they can't go to another level. Overall very cool game. Good work!
Hi Empty! Thank you for your review!
About the art, mechanics, and puzzles, we are very proud of them. We have put a lot of effort into making them. However, the lack of a tutorial caused confusion and boredom among the people :(( We tried to encourage people to learn them for themselves, but it wasn't a good idea. It's something we will definitely keep in mind for future jams, something we learned from this one.
Highlighting the passages would have been a great idea, I honestly didn't think about that. Thank you for the suggestion.
I'm glad you liked the game!
Really interesting art style and game mechanics, the game is pretty solid. The controls were a little bit clunky and hard to understand but, overall, great job!

There's a signature style to this game. I see what you're going for, and I'm here for it.
My one critique: The size buttons are not the most intuitive for this type of game.
Pretty good game! The controls and mechanics were confusing at first, but the artstyle was cool and the story was interesting.
Nice game, I love the art and atmosphere in general. Climbing could get some work, but good job with the rest.
I love the atmospheric moods and the pencil scribbling visuals. Very enchanting! but somehow for me, I get issues on clicking the scales. After I select the black square and click on the button, sometimes it scales and sometimes it doesn't. Otherwise, it is a cool game!! good job!
Nice mechanic! Very atmospheric
But I get some issues with selecting black square and after a few clicks on scales - it became unselected, a bit difficult to scale for exact sizes.
