Liked the mechanics and the way you used the theme for the game. The sound was loud, which compromised the gameplay, but it was fun to play anyways!

Ohh different from other games, I’d say haha. I really enjoyed playing it :) One thing is that if you keep spamming the same note multiple times, it always gives you the same score even after disappearing haha.

Such a fun take on the theme. I really enjoyed it!

Really liked the graphics and the music here! Not sure I really got the hang of the arms extending out but a very interesting mechanic. Maybe using the mouse to control the arm direction might help a little?

But very cool, anything based around music is impressive.

Enjoyed the game! Just trying to figure it all out. Definitely challenging to get around the crates. I found myself destroying the crates at first, then realized the color changing keys up top. Nice music. Can I show game-play of your game in a video?

Developer(+1)

Glad you enjoyed! I always want to add tutorials to jams but it seems like I never have time but I’m glad you were able to figure it out eventually. You can definitely use the game in a video, that would be great.

im unsure if its intended or not but i can press the same note twice, if not more, by holding the space bar to get more scores. pretty unique game!

Developer(+1)

Yeah that was definitely not intended, thanks for the review!

Pretty cool game, it's surprisingly fun even though I thought it would be a bit boring. Although a bit basic, I think you guys did a great job.

I am the rhythm champion of the world!

The core concept is insane in the best way and I am absolutely here for it. The extended arms were appropriately difficult to get fully under control, leading to me producing a truly chaotic synth lead performance which I am suitably proud of, and making it surprisingly difficult to get a perfect score on any given note.

Encountered the same bug mentioned by LuLuStyle08 below, although I didn't mind so much as it let me set this sick highscore :)

I should add the disclaimer that I'm understandably biased towards games featuring really long arms lol

Developer(+2)

Hey!! Feels like every time I do a jam you're also participating haha. I'm glad you enjoyed and I am also officially calling the "bug" a feature and it was actually intended (subconsciously). Crazy that we both did long arm based games, what are the chances of that lol.

Submitted(+1)

Actually quite funny and nice idea! I found a bug that whenn you press a note multible times you get the points multible times :U. Still a really funny game

Glad you enjoyed! It was impossible to hit it twice fast enough for 99% of the jam but last minute I made the hand faster to make it easier but I didn't double check that.
