See, we considered a clock but thought that might have been overkill. Glad you liked the anticipation build up tho!

Totally fair. The combat balance was definitely ambitious, but we've learned a lot for next time about how to prioritize that sort of thing. Thank you for playing and leaving feedback!

Totally fair! Post jam, we're gonna be giving combat a big tweak so it feels better, so thank you for all of this feedback.

Ah, the firebreath was supposed to work that way. There was an icon in the bottom right that goes dark after you use your fire, then lights back up after a cooldown period to let you know when to use it again.

We could have been more clear about that, so we'll keep that in mind for next time!

Fun concept with fun graphics. It was a little glitchy when I played where I would get teleported/flipped randomly when trying to pick up trash.

The visual effect of the dandelion getting destroyed by the bee was really cool. The shield is really small and hard to see, but otherwise good job!

Simple and fun concept, even if it's not completely on theme I enjoyed playing it!

Super cute music! I love that you were able to fit something like raids in too. It looks like it doesn't like it when you score 100 points though -- the game froze for me when I did.

Fun and simple, great job! I did run into the game crashing at the end of the tutorial, which was a bummer, but the tutorial was a nice feature to include.

This was a really fun game! It starts off kind of slow but then ramps up pretty quickly, especially when juggling reviving fallen bat friends. Good job!

The art is very cute and the game was fun. The enemies were a bit repetitive for the length of time you had to protect the wizard, but otherwise it was an enjoyable game. Good job!

The concept was cute and the voice reading out the fake mail was really funny. I struggled with figuring out how to play but otherwise good job!

This was a really cute idea! It was tricky to play though because the face covered the 2nd button, so I wasn't able to read it or click it at all.

Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it! We were worried that might happen re: babies, but didn't even think about having you pick them up to begin the game, that's a great idea!

Thank you so much!

Regarding the attacks not working for you, do you use a qwerty layout keyboard? Another user mentioned having an issue because they used a qwertz layout, so I wonder if there is a similar issue here.

I'm sorry to hear the attacks didn't work, but thank you for leaving a comment anyway!

Thank you!!! We definitely meant to make it harder, but jam games are notoriously hard to balance.

That's interesting about the fire attack, I'll have to look in to how different keyboard layouts affect keybinding in games!

Hey, thanks for playing! Monsters were definitely supposed to be more frequent, but we didn't have a chance to balance it before time ran out ;^;  there WAS supposed to be a little victory screen at the end, but it broke at the last minute!! Sorry about any confusion!

Really fun and challenging game with a creative concept, well done!

Thank you! Yeah, we ended up not having as much time to play with music as we wanted, nor the time to refine those pit issues... But I'm really glad you liked it, thank you!
