THIS RETRO PIXEL 3D STUFF IS SO HARD TO PULL OFF AND YET Y'ALL MAKE IT LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL SO EFFORTLESSLY. I LOVED TEH CRABS AND THE ROBOT AND THE BUILDINGS THAT GOT MORE AND MORE DESTROYED AS TIME PASSED. FEEDBACK: IT WAS HARD TO EARN ENOUGH MONEY TO MAKE MY FIRST UPGRADE AND I WASN'T SURE HOW TO REFILL AMMO. BEING ON WAVE 3-4 WITH NO UPGRADES IS ROUGH-- I WOULD SMOOTH A BIT OF YOUR EARLY GAME AND BE MORE GENEROUS TO THE PLAYER. GREAT WORK!
A CUTE GAME WITH GOOD SOUNDS AND A REALLY SATISFYING HIT NOISE. I LIKED THE THEME AND THE ART WAS GREAT! MY ONLY FEEDBACK NOTES ARE 1) I DIDN'T KNOW PICKING UP THE BONES IN THE BACKGROUND WERE THE GOAL AND 2) THE LEVELS BEING MOSTLY LINEAR HALLS PUNISHES YOU IF YOU MISCLICK AND THROW YOUR BONE TOO FAR. GREAT CORE MECHANIC THAT HAS ME WONDERING WHAT MORE CAN YOU DO WITH IT!
GREAT STYLE AND GOOD CARD FEEL. I FEEL I HAD TOO LITTLE AGENCY IN THE GAMES AND HAD THE MOST FUN WHEN I WAS PEAKING AT MY OPPONENT'S FIRST CARD. IF YOU ITERATED ON THIS I WOULD RECOMMENDED LOOKING FOR WAYS TO ADD MORE AGENCY IN THE SYSTEM RATHER THAN IT FEELING LIKE IM PICKING RANDOM HANDS. GREAT JOB ON THE JAM OVERALL!
I LOVED THE INTERPRETATION OF THE THEME AND USING A CUTE CAT AS THE WEAPON OF A BANAL OFFICE ENVIRONMENT. ITS FUN TO EXPLORE THE SCENE AND Y'ALL DID A GREAT JOB MAKING THE OFFICE FEEL ALIVE WITH HOW MANY MOVING CHARACTERS AND INTERACTABLE ELEMENTS EXISTED. IF YOU WANTED TO ITERATE FURTHER, I WOULD WORK ON INCREASING THE READABILITY OF THE GLOW EFFECT ON SOME OF THE INTERACTABLE ELEMENTS AS I FOUND IT DIFFICULT TO SCAN THE SCREEN FOR MY OBJECTIVES IN THE FIELD. I ALSO SKIPPED THE OPENING CUTSCENE AND STRUGGLED TO LOCATE MY CHARACTER FOR HALF A SECOND. FUN!
THE OVER-THE-TOP GUITAR AND ACTION PACKED INTO A SILLY LITTLE GAME WHERE YOU PILOT AN ARROW GIVES AN ABSURDLY TURBO-RIFFIC ATMORSPHERE TO ENJOY. THE CORE LOOP OF PILOTING THE ARROW IS QUITE FUN-- IF YOU WERE TO ITERATE ON THIS, I'D RECOMMEND WORKING WITH THE RESPAWN TIME AS I FOUND THE TIME BETWEEN DEATH AND LIFE TO FEEL LIKE IT INTERRUPTED MY LOOP OF BEING A FUN ARROW, FLYING THROUGH ROBOTS
THE PREMISE OF THE GAME HAS PROMISE AND I ENJOYED FLYING AROUND AS A HAMMER TO PROTECT MY CENTRAL CHARACTER. WITH SOME WORK ON MAKING IT MORE FUN AND FLUID TO DASH AROUND, AND PERHAPS SOME RANGE ADJUSTMENTS ON THE ATTACKS, I CAN SEE A CONCEPT LIKE THIS BEING A VERY FUN VAMPIRE-SURVIVORS-LIKE GAME WITH A FUN TWIST
