You are a cannon and you have legs. Fire cannonballs with X to break stuff or launch yourself. Stuck? You can reset the level in the pause menu.

You are a walking cannon. Even though you don't fire for a violent motive, you're still a weapon
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
This is my first project done with pico-8 and aside of some code snippets taken from public example cartridges, all of it was made by me. Credit to those are on the game page itself.

Man I liked this like A LOT! Got hooked right away. Got to the "Almost there" -level. Great mechanics and plays very well. Gave me a feeling of "mastery" after I finished a difficult level. Congrats!
This game is very fun. Always love seeing some pico-8 in the jam! Great job on all the art and music. I love the "rocket" jump style play here and having to master the jumping around. I had some trouble on the far water level, but after that it felt a lot better. Def had a great time playing this game.
Keep making this and things like it. Very enjoyable!
this game was really fun and cute! the mechanics are really well thought out and robust and it feels really nice to play! i really like the puzzles and the movement they feel really good :) the only thing is occasionally launching diagonally felt a bit finicky and I'd end up being launched either straight up or straight sideways sometimes when I didn't want to, otherwise, this is really well-rounded and a total... BLAST... to play. Good job getting your game in :D
Thank you! Finding out how to properly handle firing the cannonballs was a real challenge. It would have been so much easier if pico8 had a second d-pad or stick, but working around those limitations is part of the fun!

Ay that going over water part cheeky, Took me a bit before realising I could shoot diagonally lol. Did manage to get to past "master of jumping" and get to "Almost there" though! Neat puzzle game!
Thank you! I noticed too late that firing diagonally is not as intuitive as I expected, maybe I could have either added a separate tutorial for diagonal firing or replaced the text on "watch out for water". Lesson learned I guess :D
A LOVELY PLATFORM PUZZLE GAME WITH A GREAT CORE MECHANIC AND A VERY WELL-FIT THEME FOR THE JAM. I COULDN'T MAKE IT PAST THE MASTER OF JUMPING LEVEL BUT I REALLY ENJOYED MY PATH GETTING TO IT. WELL DONE!
Thanks a lot! I thought that if the main firing mechanic was robust enough then the levels would add the complexity and speak for themselves. But if you're stuck on a level there's a cheat code on the end of the game's page.
