We're so glad you liked it so much haha. It was certainly a challenge creating 3 different "games" but we're really glad we managed to come in clutch! We were feeling quite silly when it came to the UI but there will definitely be some improvements to come visually, plus I'd love to add more SFX, thanks for the suggestion! I cant wait to try out your game next!

Oh it absolutely took so much time grinding this out with only 3 of us haha, our scope was big but we're extremely happy with how far we got! My favorite are the sneaky guys too, Im too scared to test that level T~T thank you so much for playing, and I cant wait to try out yours soon!

Will definitely be making it a bit smaller haha, thanks for playing our game!

Haha, isnt it great  when something we forgot to implement becomes a feature that enhances the horror :') We're glad we could spook you, thanks for playing!

Oh no im notoriously bad at bullet hells :'( but this one was really good and I actually had a fun time! I enjoyed the sprite art even if they are placeholders, the music was banger and the lore was very interesting though a bit hard to follow. I cant wait to see where this goes after the jam if you do more with it!

Great job for your first game! You made very good use of the premade tilesets and created a nicely put together level. I hope you had fun and keep making games

Ooo I just love underwater horror games!! Super freakky, I love the pixel aesthetic too. Wish there were a bit more sounds but im just glad to see you learned a lot! I learned a lot making mine too, so I know how good that feels. Be proud! You did great

NOOO WHY DID THIS SCARE ME SO MUCH oh my god.  You did an amazing job and now i need to calm my heart lmao I did not like that pale little dude. The only issue I had was that the window was very very tiny for me so i couldnt read some of the notes, so adding fullscreen functionality will help in the future!

I loved going down all the routes! These are some of my favorite kinds of experiences, I like exploring new endings and different paths. You did a great job!

I love RPG Maker horror games, my favorite genre :> you did a great job, I was unsettled and creeped out the whole time. The puzzles were fairly intuitive but still had a little healthy challenge to them. Nice work!

This is my kind of game! This was super creative and innovative and I enjoyed this a lot, though it was a bit difficult. This was a super cool mechanic and I'd love to see much more of this! I wish I didnt have to go through the entire process all over again just to click a different sense for a different ending but maybe ill come back every so often to see the other endings! Super great job

Fantastic sound design, really simplistic aesthetic that I actually really enjoyed! It somehow made the game even more unsettling, I felt unsafe the whole time. That end startled me, this was a very effective game very fitting of the theme haha. Wonderful job!

The sound design in this is unsettling, i am uncomfortable (in a good way) making sandwiches to this spooky atmosphere haha. Nice job!

I really liked this! The visual effects you have create an unsettling environment and i like the sarcastic wit of the character ("I cant jump, maybe im over tired or in a poorly made video game") haha. Great stuff for 2 days! My only suggestion is if youre going to use arrow keys, or have the majority of your game be on arrow keys, dont mix in mouse controls! I noticed i could use a mouse click to speed up dialogue, but i had to take my hand of the main controls to do so. Other than that, awesome job!

I hope I managed to get all the endings! What a neat point and click, it had a creepy atmosphere and I was surprised at how much I could do. Nice job!

Im sorry you didnt have enough time :( this looks like such a silly fun game haha

I really loved the sound design in this game, you did great making this all on your own. The monster designs are freaky!

What an incredibly cool game! Its super duper polished and has very unique interactive mechanics that really make this game stand apart. I enjoyed having to manage my breathing and blinking while exploring the new areas that caught me off guard when closing my eyes. That last level was extremely cool and Id love to know how you did it! Great job!

Kinda! After our steam release, there was a youtuber who kept calling the partner "Mossy". so we've been referring to them with that name ever since. We don't have any name ideas for the player yet though.  (You can find a brand new & improved version of this on steam!)

Super fun concept!

Wow I loved this! What a super fun mechanic. I really liked that you also added a bit of danger to the role swapping. This was a super interesting implementation of the theme, and could make for a really unique full game.

Cool idea! The mechanic was very unique and the puzzles were creative. Nice work

I love this so much that i've been playing it for 3 years straight

What a clever little idea! I very much enjoy your take on this theme. I used to be an avid cookie-clicker fan, so it was fun getting to take over the role of THE cookie. It's very fitting! This would be a fun game to pass the time when you're bored. Awesome job.

We're glad you had fun, thanks so much for playing! <3

Not at the moment, unfortunately. But it sounds like a fun idea to experiment with! For now, we've envisioned this as a single player game

Wow thank you for this really thoughtful response! This was our first time working together and it was such a blast trying to pull this off, so your feedback! <3 Some of us would love to expand on this game in the future thanks to everybody's kind encouragement.

(I personally played your game and had so much fun with it, so I really appreciate you taking the time to enjoy ours too! :D I look forward to more games from your team as well <3)

Ahh Im sorry :( There was a mechanic that was supposed to aid you in the last few levels we had to cut last minute. Hopefully we can fix it afterward to mitigate the frustration. We appreciate you checking out our game!

There is technically a light source emitting directly from the torch, but its huge so its impossible to tell TwT whoops !  We'll try to modify that after the judging, but thanks for playing our game! <3
(Also aaa i loved your game :D it was awesome!!)

Im so blessed to have gotten to work with such an amazing team that im really proud of. We're glad you enjoyed the game, thank you for such positive feedback <3

Haha, glad we were able to spook you :) Thanks so much for the kind words!

We were hoping to add a jump scare or efefct for the deaths, maybe we'll get the chance to work on that in the future! If you have a  combination of keys that you think would work better let us know, otherwise we'd like to try to add the option to customize the controls if we have time later on

Thanks for playing the game! Hopefully we'll get the chance to improve our puzzles in the future and add more variety. I wanted to let you know that our Audio Producer has posted the soundtrack to their soundcloud if you'd like to take a listen! Its linked within their name (CocoaBeanz) in the game desc

So sorry about that TwT perhaps we'll add an actual menu in the future. Thank you for caring about our bun buns :) <3

Thanks for playing! If you have any ideas for how we can improve the parallax, shoot us your thoughts!

This game had a lot of suspense, and I personally really like this style of graphics, it adds to the creep factor. This game also ran very smoothly for a webgl! Nice work.

While I think you had good intentions with that really long stretch of walking, I personally feel like it was overdone a bit and lost its suspense after a bit. Following the blood trail went on too long and began to feel more like a chore. The flare was a nice break from that. But I think if you had added more, perhaps the sound of snow crunching/footsteps behind you halfway through, or perhaps had some trees with shifty shadows, the player could have stayed a lot more engaged and worried for longer while walking. Though I understand the limits a game jam poses, so those could perhaps be things to think of after the voting.

The aim of the gun was also not exact, my flares kept shooting down and to the right, but I was able to get the hang of it and didnt hinder the gameplay too much. It would've been nice to have some sort of indication that I was actually hitting the enemy, as I was unsure if I'd even hit most of my shots because that too went on a while. But I felt genuine fear and suspense while inside the facility and was met with surprise and disgust (in a good way!) when seeing those gruesome "surprises" you had added.

This game had a really great ambiance to it. Well done creator/s, I would love to see a more fully fledged out version of this game at some point in the future! It was a very intriguing and captivating idea.

Edit: I apologize for it posting my review 3x :') My internet is not the greatest.

This was a phenomenal game. I would totally buy this if i saw this on steam. The game and level design is on point. The throwing was a bit challenging to get used to but once I got passed all the hurdles i found it really satisfying. This is a very well polished game and I cant wait to see more. Congratulations on an incredibly epic game, this is brilliant

This game has great feedback. I love the screenshake and the music, its really fun. Nice work.

A spooky puzzle platformer where you're tethered to a lost lil bunny https://remmiemmyjr.itch.io/were-tethered-together

Ours is a "gentle" horror game. We rely a bit more on suspense and create an unsettling atmosphere with our audio, but no jumpscares or anything. Hope its fun! We would appreciate genuine honest feedback though
