I really enjoyed the vibe of the game, the atmosphere could have been improved significantly by more SFX and some music.

I loved the look of the game and although I saw more monsters on the way down than on the way up, I felt more scared while going up, maybe because of the countdown. Anyway, I thought the game's aesthetics were really cool, the idea is somewhat innovative, especially for me who's not used to playing this style of game. I found a chest that I couldn't open, I don't know if that was it. Anyway, congratulations on the project, I really enjoyed it.
It's a good game, the graphics and gameplay are great, but I think the sound design should be tweaked. I understand that we are under water and there is almost nothing to be heard, but I think the breathing of the main character and contact with surfaces should be done.
Thank you for playing! I agree the sound effects need tweaking, that is my weak spot in game development, that's why Im trying to learn more about it, I left the sound effects for the end and that really hindered the progress on it. Im glad you liked the art, and gameplay! you're game was really unique.
Love me some underwater horror games.
The moment it began getting darker and I got to a giant open area of nothing I got all sorts of dread, really great stuff!
Nice work, but isn't it kinda hard to avoid the swordfish? I like the fact there's an arrow indicate where to go when we need to go down, but it could be more intense if we need to remember the way we go down and have no help getting back up, but maybe that is too hard :D
Ooo I just love underwater horror games!! Super freakky, I love the pixel aesthetic too. Wish there were a bit more sounds but im just glad to see you learned a lot! I learned a lot making mine too, so I know how good that feels. Be proud! You did great
I really like the aesthetic of it, compliments the spooky deep sea atmosphere. The end had me on edge.
goated pixel art, love how huge are the monsters, controls are nice and picking stuff up is satisfying. Great game. Keep it up!
Ohh man, this is nice. I like how the game uses a few tricks to achieve a retro look: chromatic aberration, scanlines, monochrome graphics; but you've left the controls playing smoothly and focused on the mood lighting. The grotesque and menacing creatures of the deep, heralded only by quiet cracking and clicking noises, suggesting some sort of shelled carapace, are a sight to behold! I appreciated the arcade style of the game to provide some points to aspire towards, but no points - or untold riches - could convince me to venture back down into those depths knowing what lurks there...
Thanks! it was hard to achieve all of this even though its simple, I submitted this a couple of hours before the jam closed, but I spent a lot of days working on this in between breaks from university, Ill check out you submission, I know everyone who submitted had to work a lot and we all deserve a lot, thanks!
Made it out alive! The art style is super cool, and the controls are really easy to pick up. Nice work!
