Thanks! I'll let you know if I start getting anywhere with the project.

Hello there!
My name is Renaud. I'm not necessarily looking for a group because I have this crazy curse of my life exploding as soon as I enter a game jam and don't want to put other people through that, lol. I'm joining this one in the hope that this attempt finally breaks the curse (the longer time line helps).

In terms of skills, programming and game design are where I am strong. Art and music not so much. We will see what I can put together with those weaknesses to focus the creative muscles.

Thanks for playing and sharing it in a video!

Thanks for playing! If we continue developing the game we will definitely have some better indicators for the boss.

Thanks for playing!

It is an interesting proof of concept. Hopefully you'll try to do more with this in the future!

Thanks for playing! We definitely wanted to get some more polish and juice into the game. Hopefully we can make a post-jam update to include more!

Thanks for playing! We ran out of time at the end to make things a little clearer for the player and ended up overtuning the difficulty to make the game slightly longer to enjoy.

I'm definitely going to keep working on this and considering a mobile version too. I'm glad that you had a good time playing! Thank you for playing and giving your feedback!

Thanks for playing and for giving feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed yourself and I hope you'll give it a try later when we start putting out new development builds.

You identified one of my games in the list of inspirations I had on my mini design write-up with NecroDancer. I definitely wanted to get more predictable patterns going but that takes a bit more AI work than just slapping a random move/attack code on it. Soon. Soon.

Thank you for playing and for the feedback. There was a lot more I wanted to do to give more information to the player but ran out of time. I don't think I will go full information like Into the Breach (I want to play more of that too now that you mention it), but at least a general idea of behavior.

Thanks for playing! I will keep your suggestion in mind when I make some updates after the jam is over.

I wanted to add power ups but ran out of time. When I update the game, I should have some of that in there. Thanks for playing!

Thank you! That is the information I needed. I've joined the IGMC discord server.

Did a Discord server end up being made for the jam? It would be nice to interact with folks here in a more user friendly way.

I did see that we got the project thread subforum suggestion fulfilled. Thanks for that! I'll make an addition for my project there tonight or tomorrow.

Very solid presentation!

Hi fireh9lly, I listened to your stuff a couple hours ago, liked what I heard, and then itch crashed... so yeah took me a bit to respond to you. You can send me a message on Discord (Renaud Marshall#3057) or on my twitter (https://twitter.com/RenaudDMarshall). I'm not doing anything epic but I do need a partner that can work with sound/music! If you are still looking for a team let me know.

This will be my perfect opportunity to try out the new Unity Tilemap system. Pretty excited about it all!

Yep. Even just 30 minutes a day can lead to a solid game in a month!

Just stopping in to say hi!

I'm making a game about a slime and a hook, called Grapnel Slime.

What are you all going to be making?

Best of Luck!
