I was lots of zombies! Fun game.

The tension of building upwards while having those robots threatening to blow up your progress creates lots of excitement! Fun game, great job.

Looks really cool! Giving me Moebius vibes in the best way.

Super cool. This needed to exist! Thanks for making it.

Oh that's good to know thanks. For my next game I'm redoing all the input code using Unity's new Input System. The new system promises fantastic gamepad support but I'm skeptical! Wish me luck lol

Oh cool thanks for playing! Yeah they aggro easily and attack instantly haha pretty brutal. Gonna tone that down in my next game.

Oops! Thanks I fixed it.

This was my first 7DRL so I felt compelled to document everything as I went. For each of those days, I extracted a game dev tip to hopefully help myself and others make games quicker and more easily.

You can read the full article, the Twitter thread, or just a quick list of the tips:

  1. Day 1: Work on the fun and easy stuff first.
  2. Day 2: Use the tools in front of you.
  3. Day 3: Pace yourself.
  4. Day 4: Step back to see the big picture.
  5. Day 5: Things tend to all come together at once.
  6. Day 6: Finish early.
  7. Day 7: Remember the UX.

Oh and you can play the game Witchy on Mac or Windows.

Huge congrats on your first team jam! It's got a cool atmosphere and very pretty pixel art. Good job.

Such a great update. Been using Tiled for years and am so happy to see it still thriving. Great work!

A feature-rich AND cross-platform level editor? Looks amazing, I gotta find time to check this out.

Thanks Chris! Great points.

Hey thanks for playing! This brain dump was super useful. Reading what you thought things were when you first encountered them is helpful and gives me ideas on how to communicate stuff better. Lotta great ideas in here, cheers.

"some tiny turbaned thing" made me lol! yeah it's supposed to be a villager child haha

"Or a magical janitor if you want to be rude about it." lol

Nice, my entry was also inspired by Spelunky :D I'll check this out when the jam is over.
