I do appreciate the fact that checkpoint sort of indicate the required scale to see/beat the section of a level.

I also had a thought on how to give a non verbal feedback to the player describing your current size. The pitch of the soundtrack could adjust it’s pitch based on the size. The lower you get, the higher the pitch. The bigger you get, the lower the pitch.

Great fun entry! Well done!

Took me a while to figure it out but enjoyed it once I did! Great work, well done on the submission!

Really enjoyed playing it, love how the music was unfolding the higher my structure was getting. Great work!

I’m not sure what was happening but I can certainly call this was an… Experience? I hope that was an intention! Well done on the entry!

Interesting idea! One tiny thing that really kept me from enjoying solving the puzzles what that the camera was not centered. While games like Mario do benefit from having your character closer to the edge of the screen so you can see more, this kind of game really doesn’t. There were no enemies I needed to spot or anything, and the game also allowed me to move in all directions, not just to the right like in Mario.

Otherwise all good, well done for submitting a game!

Dude it took me a while to figure out I have to build the towers next to each other to scale them but once I did it ticked something in my brain and I just couldn’t stop building more haha

It definitely needs more balancing but I do love the concept! Great entry!

Is there an ultimate goal or a risk for the player here? I was wondering if I manage my modules badly and run out of food if something bad is going to happen but I was too scared to try haha

Good job on finishing the game!

Hey, this is quite cool game to be fair. My only wish would be to make it a bit easier to distinguish different sizes of the balls. It really did hurt my eyes trying to focus on them. If they had slightly different shading and perhaps shape this would help greatly.

Nice entry regardless, great work!

Really enjoyed playing it through! My only wish would be that the beat would be a bit faster, as in, I can tap in every 0.5s or something similar rather than full second. I felt like waiting for the beat was slowing down my gameplay.

Great entry, good job!

Hi there, thank you for the feedback! That’s definitely true, our design goal was to make the game as chaotic as possible however we simply struggled to keep the game playable every time we were trying to make it more chaotic. It was tough to keep the balance between making the things a bit more boring, but controllable and playable to the players and making it all chaotic and making more it more of a simulation rather than a game.

Like I said below, there definitely are solutions to this, we just couldn’t nail it.

Cheers for the feedback and kid words!

Hi, thank you for a broad feedback! Making it all more chaotic and satisfying was one of our design goal however every time we tried making it a bit more like that we struggled to find a balance between player actually playing the game and a player simply throwing a ball once and watching how the game unfolds making it basically more of a simulation rather than a game. There definitely are solutions to this, we just couldn’t quite nail it.

Good spots though, cheers!

Yo this is really nice! The only feedback I have is I would love that once I release and shoot an inflated balloon I wish the new one gets pushed back a bit. I can’t stop my eyes following the balloon I fire thinking I’m launching myself onto the enemies. I think adding this push back and slinging back the camera would help to mitigate that feeling.

Enjoyed playing it regardless, great work!

Hey! Nice game, got a bit stuck at the beginning as it doesn’t really scale well on a 21:9 display (see screenshot) but I managed to get it “windowed” by pressing CTRL+ENTER.

Shame it doesn’t show you your actual score at the end but it was fun running around regardless! Good job at completing the jam!

Edit: the screenshot is loading for some reason, perhaps some issues with itch servers

It is getting intense what the blocks start falling faster once you switch the mode. I wish they were going with the same default speed to give me some more time :D I really like the twist on this classic theme of Tetris, very smart! Great work!

Man, the dialogues appearing every single time and covering the entire gameplay inluding my character😥

Otherwise, I liked the game’s style, really nicely looking drawings!

I got stuck here by shooting this sponge multiple times and jumping into it.

Otherwise, really enjoyed the game, very creative and fun puzzles and platforming!

Hey, played the game but got stuck on this scene and couldn’t progress unfortunately :(

Glad you liked it!

Thank you, I’m very very pleased to hear that!
