Fantastic work in making a tower-building management game consisting of blue and red pixels in a cyberpunk world! This is my kind of style!

Submitted

Really enjoyed playing it, love how the music was unfolding the higher my structure was getting. Great work!

That was a really unique idea, I haven't seen much else like it in the jam! I would've liked to be able to hover buildings to see what their modifiers where after building them. But overall that was really well executed, nice work!

Fantastic idea, and very well executed with a very nice art style. Great job!

Developer

Glad to hear!

Its a fun twist, had some trouble in the first runs to get the gist of it but once you understand it is pretty enjoyable! Great stuff! :D

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! We appreciate it :) I’m glad you had fun!

Art looks, nice and very well designed gameplay.

Developer

Thanks a lot! :D

Really cool game, I had a great time with it!
The concept is really cool, the art is nice and I love the adaptative music.

My only complaint is that at some point the game becomes way too easy. I got so much money that I started piling everything up trying to get as high as possible. I got up to 3000m!

Developer

Thank you for playing! Yeah balacing the game was a bit hard given the exponential nature of it. Having effectively infinite money can happen, although it depends heavily on your luck in the begining of the game and how you optimize what you are given. But for sure the balance is something we definitelly need to tweak more to give some challange at every point in the game.

The art design of the buildings is coo, and I love the cyberpunk aesthetic. I do think the background makes things a bit busy, maybe a blur over it to help or different colors. I really like the tetris inspiration. I just wish I could hover over placed buildings to double check my placements! Great entry, art is one of my favorites.

Developer

Thank you for the comment! Yes the background makes the whole thing a bit cluttered, we tried to make it less agreesive by using a slight fade, but your idea of a blur is much better! Also giving placed buildings their own info card is a nice QoL feature we didnt even think about! Thank you so much for your feedback, we'll take it into consideration if we are to pick this idea up again!

Art design is fantastic, nicely done!

Thank you!

The idea is really cool. The art style is neo-noir, like Blade Runner. I wanna see what you can do with this soon.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! We aren't sure if/when we'll turn this concept into a fully fledged. Time will tell xD

I think you must do it. This game can be expanded in many ways. You can construct space stations, cyber-punk cities, something like a cyber-fortress and other things

I love the artstyle of the game! The color palette truly adds to the enjoyment of the game, and the gameplay is fun as well. At first I placed buildings randomly and it didn't work out well, but when you start to understand the synergy between buldings, it becomes a really enjoyable experience!

Developer

Thanks for playing! We took some time trying to get the balance of the game good enough, in initial trials it was WAY too easy to just stomp! Althou even now I think its still possible to grow exponentially to great heights, but less likelly. It would depend on your luck and room optimization.

love the unique spin on things! some clarity would be appreciated, both visually and gameplay wise, but i can see it being a really fun game! i love placing 3 bars and casinos beside eachother

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yes we struggled with trying to make the make visually clear enough and as good looking as we could. I do agree it could be clearer, and definitelly its something we need to work on.

I love it when i get 4 Substations in a single hand xD

I Enjoy the puzzle part of this, needing to efficiently place the buildings. I got the hang of it pretty quickly, but had a little trouble remembering was buildings I already place and how they could impact was I was building on top of it.

Still a pretty solid entry, congratulation for this submission :D!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! Actually thats a point we didnt consider buildings you just placed or that are present might not be immediately recognizable... Maybe adding the info bar from the card onto the built stuff could help that? Well thats something to look into, thanks for the input! ^^

Beautiful! I love the palette! The mechanics where a little hard to understand, but I got the hang of it!

Developer

Thanks! We hoped basic mechanics were understandable, but hard to get higher scores, glad to know it wasnt a deal breaker.
